The explanation of the Dharanis begins with "Mantras". The merits of the two Bodhicittas begin with "Mudra". The dedication is taught starting from "Victors". Extensive explanation. Explanation of the root meaning. Explanation of the ultimate Bodhicitta. Now, let's clarify the words of the root commentary. To refute the Tirthikas (non-Buddhists), it starts with "devoid of all entities." Here, "all entities" refers to external and internal entities. Sixteen internal entities are explained: Self, sentient being, life, and birth, nourishing, person, and individual, power-born, power-child, agent, instigator, feeler, knower, seer, seeker, and all instigators. External entities are pots, reeds, and endless substances. Because of their existence, they accomplish purposes. The term "all" should be understood as the nature of the twelve sense bases, which are countless. It is not limited to a specific number. Since all entities are also that, they are called "all entities." It is said, "O Brahmin, 'all' refers only to the twelve sense bases." Because it does not exist in its dependency, it is devoid. If entities are not examined, one enjoys solitude. The refutation of the Vaibhashikas and Sautrantikas begins with "aggregates," etc. Here, "aggregate" refers to form, etc., because it is a collection. That is, all forms of the three times, good and bad, large and small, are collected together. Similarly, experiences such as pleasure, colors such as "this is white," shapes such as "long," and distinctions such as "good" are apprehended as characteristics. Also, mental events of the three times, non-associated formations, consciousness that knows different objects of the three times, and the seven collections of consciousness are all collected together as consciousness, which are the five aggregates. "Dhatu" refers to the eighteen dhatus, such as the eye, because they hold the common and individual characteristics, hold the meaning of the lineage, and are the seeds of existence. "Ayatana" refers to the twelve ayatanas, such as the eye, because they generate and increase consciousness. The grasped and the grasper are external forms, etc.

The six sense sources, and the six internal sense sources such as the eye, are considered by the Mind-Only school to be universal names, because the root is the object to be taken and is the holder of the root. These are not truly existent in the ultimate truth, so they are abandoned. It will also be mentioned below that form is like a bubble. These are used to explain. Refuting the Mind-Only view is "Dharma-lessness, equality of nature," in which "Dharma" is briefly the five aggregates, because they hold the general and specific characteristics, so the scriptures say, "Because it holds the specific characteristics, it is called Dharma." "No-self" refers to the fact that like a snake shedding its skin, in the aggregates of the body, the previous aggregates are abandoned and the later aggregates are taken, which is what the heretics consider to be the basis of examination and attachment to "I," that is, the so-called "self." Similarly, after eliminating the Dharma-self of both Buddhism and heretics, it is only established as Mind-Only. Since the aggregates and no-self are the same, then consciousness is also non-existent, so it is called "Dharma-lessness, equality of nature." Below, it will be explained with "Mind-Only transforms into various phenomena." In this way, after eliminating the attachment to things and so on, the essence of Madhyamaka is established as "One's own mind is originally unborn." It means that in the ultimate truth, one's own mind is also not born, because it transcends existence and non-existence. It is not like the creation of the Lord Ishvara and so on as said by the heretics. If it is originally unborn, and the mind has existed from the beginning, then there is no need to be born. If there is no thing, then how can non-existence arise is unreasonable. Thus, immediately after there is no limit of existence and non-existence, birth is not observed in Madhyamaka. Then, what kind of nature is it? It is the nature of emptiness, without things, like space. For example, although space exists in name, if analyzed, it is emptiness. Similarly, the Prajnaparamita Sutra says, "Practicing the Yoga of Space is practicing the Prajnaparamita as it is taught." Vowing to practice it. What will be shown is the vow to practice the mind of enlightenment in the ultimate truth. Such as "Thus Come One, worthy, perfectly enlightened," etc.
