Or do not go to the pond. If you cannot find the places mentioned earlier, go to empty temples, pleasant tree roots, or mountains and rivers, streams, waterfalls, and empty forests and wildernesses. In any place, the mantra practitioner can reside and recite. Alternatively, if a place is not determined, then during these eight months, rely on any one place, such as lakes, trees, mountains, or monasteries. Reside by lakes, houses, forests, and watersides during the winter and spring months. The mantra practitioner should reside alone in the summer. Just as the Victorious One (Buddha) said that monks should not go to other places during the three summer months. Similarly, the Bhagavan (Buddha) also said to the mantra practitioner to reside alone for three months. The mantra practitioner should not engage in practice during the summer but should spend the time reciting. Starting from the summer months, the mantra practitioner should generate radiance, protect themselves, and then begin practice. Completely abandoning attachment, possessing coarse Dharma robes, alms, cushions, and bedding, one obtains merit with a contented mind. Keeping the hair knot, shaving the hair, and changing the color of the clothes with mineral pigments. Wear white clothes, leaves, moss, or rough bark clothes. Use bowls made of wood, iron, or clay, which are well-shaped, not rough but smooth, without breakage, round, without damage, without flaws, and pleasing. In towns where food is plentiful, the population is large, and guests are well entertained, not too close and not too far, rely on places where there are no people other than Brahmins. Those Brahmins who are overwhelmed by arrogance, proud of their caste, and without compassion, if they see offerings to the stupa of the Sugata (Buddha), they will also create obstacles. How can Brahmins be inferior to Buddhists? Because the common people will serve and make offerings to Brahmins, how can the common people recite secret mantras? Offering to gods and guests, performing sacrifices and the six acts, and relying on the king and fire, things to be done for the sake of sons, the Brahmins will surely accomplish. The royal caste and the Vaishya caste are also the same.

My work! Do not doubt the accomplishment of this matter, with false words and various faults, it burns the hearts of oneself and others. Always abide in the eight-branch precepts, and uphold them until noon. The time of the Brahmins is in the evening, therefore, do not go to the house of the Brahmins. For example, just as a doctor gives medicine to patients to heal and eliminate wounds. Similarly, in order to eliminate the suffering of hunger, the Buddha said to eat food. Some people, when bound and walking on the road, are compelled by hunger and thirst to eat the flesh of their own children. Yogis should not eat with a base mind for the sake of fatness. If poured in large quantities, it rises effortlessly, and similarly, if in small quantities, it will also decrease. Just as walking equally in an instant when in moderation, sentient beings should eat food in this way. For example, in order not to damage an old house, people erect strong pillars. Similarly, the body abides in samsara, and food should be eaten like the white of a horse's eye. The desire realm exists by relying on food. The Buddha once taught a single Dharma, the body should be regarded as a tree by the water, and the mind should not be attached to food and drink, etc. When the six senses wander on objects, they should be guarded by the wisdom spoken by the Sugata. Take one from those bowls, look towards where the yoke is, and practice begging for alms. With a smile on your face, speak to passersby, with a smile in the corner of your eye, all limbs making a captivating gesture. A woman's body is like a weapon and a trap, it will immediately take away a man's heart. It is easier to cover the eyes with a red-hot iron plowshare. Secondly, like a woman who has lost her memory, with long eyes, it is not easy to see. Where there is joy in grasping and seeing, the mind tames the mind, abandoning the superior and the middling, and goes to another's house without speaking. Where there are young calves and small children, where young girls play and frolic, similarly where young men frolic, where children like to eat and play games, where many people gather, similarly where there is music playing, men should never go there. Begging for alms
