The tantra of the garland of breaths based on Vajra recitation is the tantra. How to understand it? Therefore, "determination" refers to the number of hours in the external year, and the number of days and nights in the internal, which are all distinguished by this. "Having the nature of generating great joy" refers to the generation of the four joys through experiencing the order of the wheel of breaths, and the equal union of skillful means and wisdom of external and internal nature. "Piercing all conceptual winds" refers to the breath generated by the number of wheels, which can penetrate all winds, which are divided into one hundred and eight kinds, which is the meaning achieved through the order of the suchness of wind and mantra. It is said in the sutra that it cannot be pierced by its own wind, because it is not controlled by others. The wind is called "piercing" because it is not clear what the wind is, therefore it is said: "Day and night must, more than one hundred and eight times also shake." Here, the essence is: Here, the Blessed One, with the division of the breaths of the aggregates and sense bases, in the great yoga tantra called "Vajra Door," spoke of the ten winds, as it is said in the sutra: "Life breath and downward-moving breath, sustaining breath and pervasive breath, upward-moving breath and pervading breath are called, dragon breath and turtle breath, hawk breath, celestial giving breath and wealth breath." Thus, if the tenth wind called "pervading breath" is removed, then there will be nine winds left. Because it is non-active and pervades the whole body. Therefore, it is different from the others and is not completely read as having action. As it is said in the sutra: "The wind that dwells in the whole body, enters into all actions, this is the nature of Vairochana, will appear in the dying body." Thus, if this is abandoned, then the nine breaths that are to be spoken of, calculated by the number of six wheels, will appear fifty-four times during the day. The night is also the same, and the two added together become one hundred and eight times. Or, according to the view of the Yogini Tantra, those winds that abandon the pervading breath

The nine become thirty-six through the differentiation of the four wheels, such as the Emanation Body. It is said that these also, when fully examined by entering, abiding, and rising, will become one hundred and eight. The term 'clear' refers to the number of wheels and so on. The term 'winds of the nature of discrimination' means that the winds, by the power of the winds, grasp the objects of discriminative consciousness, so the nature of discrimination arises. The number of one hundred and eight also applies to the winds. Those that appear to them are those that can destroy them, which are removals. Likewise, here too, it is oral instruction. Initially, relying on the five stages, contemplating the suchness of the wind and the essence of the bindu in the order of numbers and so on. The suchness of the mantra is dependent on the three yogas for half a session. The three bindus are gradually shown in sequence. From the outside, entering and rising, etc., are necessarily combined with the wind that abides in the form of the letter A in that order, and the essence of the bindu is contemplated therein. By gradually showing the subtle wind, it should abide there for a kalpa or a thousand kalpas, it is said. Thus, after showing the nature of dispelling doubts in the Vajra Garland, in order to show the nature of the branch winds, etc., which speak of the unfavorable side, it is said, 'Listen to the names of the winds,' which means 'being explained.' How is it? By the differentiation of disciples and so on, that is, nine kinds. By extreme differentiation, that is, the number of one hundred and eight. The term 'releasing and holding' means that relying on the vein of true power that abides in the Emanation Body wheel, what is released from the gate of the sky is expansion, and again, holding it within, it is releasing and holding, that is, the life wind. The term 'billion' means relying on the vein of extreme power, knowing with A and the sun, it is called a billion, that is, the second wind, the downward-clearing wind. The term 'intoxicated' means relying on the vein of extreme goodness, having made the eaten objects equal, because of the action of uniting them like a stream of water, it is the equally abiding wind of the intoxicating wind. The term 'difficult to realize' means the vein of good conduct.
