It should be cleared the field, which is the literal meaning. Now, in order to show the common offering branch of both yogis, the wise ones have spoken of "Utpala" and so on. What the wise ones say, by distinguishing through those who are good at distinguishing, Utpala, should be understood by distinguishing five kinds of colors such as white, and by distinguishing five kinds of categories. Similarly, for the lotus, five kinds of colors should also be understood. Jasmine has three kinds, that is, divided into three colors, and offered to the gods. Similarly, thinking of Karnikara flowers, jasmine flowers, jasmine and karavira flowers, fully generate through the power of meditation, and offer to all Tathagatas with mantras, which is the meaning of uprightness. It should be explained by the scriptures: Whoever the wind is proclaimed as ten kinds, that is the name of lotus and Utpala. It is called the three vajras. Jasmine is considered the only three kinds. Karnikara, jasmine, jasmine and karavira, in order are eyes etc., here combined with Mahadeva etc. Because it is established in the position of non-existence, it is combined with the bodies of the gods, becoming the only one that can please all Buddhas, that will become a great offering. If it is thought that that is the flower, then people of later generations will not know, because they do not understand, those achievements will last for a long time. Saying "This is not my fortune", thereby slandering oneself. Similarly, because of slandering oneself, it will become slandering all Buddhas. Because of slandering all Buddhas, one will go to other places outside of Nirvana. Thus it is said.

Therefore, at all times. The families refer to the families of Akshobhya, etc., and should be placed in the eastern and other directions. Just as the mandala of Vairocana is indicated by the term "wheel mandala," the lotus is the mandala of Amitabha. The vajra mandala is the mandala of Akshobhya. The sword mandala is the mandala of Amoghasiddhi. The term "utpala" means jewel, and the word "ta" is not contrary to the meaning of combination. Therefore, just as the utpala is the mandala of Ratnasambhava, the wise should meditate and understand. Starting from one yojana, up to a hundred thousand kotis of yojanas, the mandala should be made according to one's wishes and pleasure. Because it is similar to a stupa, it is a stupa, that is, a mandala. Because it is a mandala of the nature of four jewels, it is of four jewels. Clear like crystal, this indicates the complete acceptance of the color white. The term "nature without stain" is because it is the nature of the suchness of the mandala. The families, that is, the place and basis of the five families, the wise, for the sake of offering by the yogi who knows the secret empowerment, up to the point of meditating for the sake of the secret empowerment. Thus, after explaining the actions of the guru, the disciple who wishes to receive the secret empowerment, in order to show what should be done, spoke of "desirable qualities," etc. The five desirable qualities are the five objects such as form. By "those," it is explained that the ocean of offerings is made to the deities who rely on the mandala, and one should begin to accumulate various oceans of offerings and engage in action. In order to explain these five desirable qualities in detail, "jewel," etc., were spoken of. Jewel refers to padmaraga, etc. Clothes refer to silk and cotton, etc. After indicating the object of the eye sense, the object of the ear sense, etc., is indicated by the word "etc." Why? Because one desires bodhi, washes away all stains, wisdom.
