The one hundred and sixty minds and mental factors are all luminous. Because everything is of the nature of emptiness, they are without defilement. Because they take a body like an illusion, they are unborn. Because there is no appearance, they are without outflows. Bodhi is the fruit. Manifest realization is the cause of attaining it. These two kinds of conceptualization are not real. Because it holds, it is the realm, that is, the place. Because it arises, it is the arising, that is, the dwelling place. These two, the place and the dwelling place, entering into the light, that does not become an object of focus, because it is not intentional, it is spoken. Now, in order to show the place of arising by the order of union, therefore, "that" and so on are spoken. The unborn is a branch of holding. After that, the arising of mindfulness is called mindfulness, and meditating on it is the samadhi of the great bliss of Vajradhara, the nature of the two truths. What is that like? "By nature" and so on are spoken. The word "from" after that is the order of non-contradiction. From under the branch of holding, connect the phrase "self-luminous by nature." Nature is the conventional truth. Light is the ultimate truth. Light with nature is called self-luminous by nature. What is that? It is the body of the great bliss of Vajradhara, the nature of non-dual wisdom. What is that like? "Like the sky" and so on. The word "sky" indicates the rainbow objects residing in that place, and because it is the same as it, it is the sky. Because cause and effect are non-dual, it is without characteristics. Because it is destroyed and exhausted, it is change. Because it is different from that, it is inexhaustible. Because it arises from that, it is unchanging, until between being separated from birth and death. Non-dual, non-non-dual, peaceful. This sentence means that because the two truths are one, they are non-dual. Because it is the nature of union, it is not non-dual. Because it is the characteristic of the pacification of all suffering, it is peaceful. Because it is without outflows, it is extremely pure. Because it is not an object of touch, it is like the sky, which is spoken intentionally. Thus, the Dharmakaya and Sambhogakaya are two.

Having ascertained the characteristic of non-existence, now, in order to elaborate on the basis of the emanation body, it is said, "The family of wrath," and so on. Wrath is Akshobhya, which is the vajra of the mind. Its family refers to the mandala of deities that necessarily arise from one's own nature, manifestly transforming into the form of women, emerging from the body of the Bhagavan Vairochana, because it is said in the scriptures, "Manifestly arisen." Performing offerings such as the supreme one with these is the offering of the family. Mindfulness is experiencing attachment and so on, and that itself is meditation. What is that like? It is said, "Woman," and so on. Woman is a girl. The mind is extremely stable, which is obtaining and finding the stability of nature. The families are the four families, such as the lotus family. Union with that refers to the action of differentiation performed there. "Mine" means of oneself. Semen is called "śukra (Sanskrit Devanagari, śukra, Sanskrit Romanization, śukra, essence)", where śū (Sanskrit Devanagari, śū, Sanskrit Romanization, śū, suffering) means sorrow, and kra (Sanskrit Devanagari, kra, Sanskrit Romanization, kra, cutting) cuts like a knife, so it is called śukra (Sanskrit Devanagari, śukra, Sanskrit Romanization, śukra, essence), which is supreme joy. From "offering oneself with semen" in between, it clearly shows the lord of desire. In order to show the fruit of mindfulness, it is said, "By this," and so on. By fully understanding the sixteen mindfulnesses just mentioned, one will obtain the body of the Tathagata, that is, the magical body of the nature of Vairochana and so on. And, by this, one will obtain the vajra of the mind, which is fully encompassed by the pādevāda (Sanskrit Devanagari, pādevāda, Sanskrit Romanization, pādevāda, foot offering) of Vajrasattva's life, youth, and health, that is, the freedom of mind associated with Akshobhya, one will obtain great freedom. Abiding in the completion stage, whatever one desires in the mind, that and that will effortlessly become perfectly complete, that is the meaning. The holder of the Dharma is Amitabha. His speech refers to obtaining the power of speech related to that. How is it? Like the image of sound, for understanding the nature of sound, whatever one speaks will be accomplished, so it is the power of speech, the last existence.
