Chapter 7. Explanation of the practice described in Chapter 5, elaborated with six extremes. Chapter 7. Explanation of the practice described in Chapter 5, elaborated with six extremes. Thus, the conduct of ordinary yogis and the excellent ones has been correctly explained. In order to further elaborate on it, "Then" and so on are spoken. The great samaya is the great Vajradhara. Its suchness is the six limbs. The supreme practice of mantra is the common accomplishment. Obtaining perfect enlightenment through these is obtaining Vajradhara himself, which is called the perfect enlightenment of the suchness of the great samaya. The chapter on its meaning is a collection of words that excellently explain it, and it should be combined with what the Bhagavan said. "Enjoyment of desire" and so on. ༄། །Para. All desires are objects such as form. Approaching and enjoying them means experiencing them and becoming familiar with them in mind. How to rely on them? It is said, "How to desire." In "How to desire," desire is intention. Whatever one wants is how one desires. The way of stating desire is that the eyes and so on take forms and so on, inferior, medium, and superior, as objects in the same way. The yogi also enjoys in accordance with how the senses conform, which is explained as "How to desire." Here, "practicing with elaborate practice" is the remainder of the sentence. What is it? "Like this" and so on are spoken. "Like this" refers to what was just said. "By combining" means that by equally combining objects and senses, one becomes enlightened. Vajradhara himself will surely be obtained quickly and swiftly in this very life. Thus, after explaining the practice with elaboration, in order to master the practice without elaboration, "Enjoyment of desire" and so on are spoken. "How to desire" means conforming to one's own desire, and the five desirable qualities of how to happily experience them should be offered and satisfied to oneself and others.

Oh! How is it? "With the conduct of one's own deity," which means with the Samadhi of one's own deity. Just with that, it is said "asceticism" etc., with the conduct of physical fatigue and exhaustion, to accomplish asceticism such as the temple on the top, and to suppress with the twelve qualities of practice such as under the tree, jumping from the mountain and entering the fire etc. are unbearable, relying on those and tormenting oneself will not be accomplished, will not attain Bodhi. Then by what will it be accomplished? "For all the enjoyment of desires, if relied upon, it will be quickly accomplished," it is said, because it is everything that everyone wants and strives for, so it is all desires. Showing by closely enjoying those is, making the Great Vajradhara happy, therefore one will quickly attain Mahamudra accomplishment in this very life, this is as the literal meaning. Thus, from the aspect of bending the body, it is completely prevented from attaining Mahamudra accomplishment, in order to prevent the suffering of the practitioner's mind, it is said to beg for food etc., with the rules of begging for food, one should not repeat and recite. Begging for food is the meaning of close representation, therefore, like going to beg, completely seeking etc. entering into other inferior aspects should also not be repeated. One should not be happy about begging either. This is saying that begging for food is a close representation, one should not be attached to begging, nor be greedy for food, one should be content with just enough to keep the body alive, and practice with very idle behavior. What should one do by dwelling in such behavior? It is said "For all desires" etc., the mantra is three syllables. (Seed Syllables and Mantras: None) The limbs not degenerating is, to recite with the mantra of enjoying the deity yoga and all desires without distinction. What merit is there in doing that? It is said "Body and speech and mind etc.," the body and speech and mind dwelling in bliss is, becoming one-pointed. Obtaining that is Bodhi, obtaining the Great Vajradhara, and truly experiencing it.
