Do you contemplate yourself? Or wishing to practice union and other methods, regarding the first syllable that shows non-arising, the letters ཀ་ཁ་ (ka kha) etc., and the fifteen vowel sounds ཨ་ (a) etc., similarly insert them with your union. Contemplate the form of the primary Vajra etc. of your own lineage, and visualize being surrounded by two moon discs, adorned with a crescent moon from the crown of the head to where it doesn't touch. In its center, mentally draw the images of all Buddhas with the lunar letters, and only recite it. For the meaning of recitation, one should meditate on the mandala etc. Regarding showing this meaning, if asked: How is it the Vajrasattva without beginning or end? The answer is: With wisdom as the guide, the letters ཀ་ (ka) etc. ༄། །It is said that the Vajrasattva without beginning or end is the same. Among them, the letters ཀ་ (ka) etc. refer to writing on the moon disc. How is it written? It is said: One should abandon the end of the letter དྷ་ (dha) and the letters ང་ (nga) and ཉ་ (nya) to use. That is, the letter ང་ (nga) of the ཀ་ (ka) group, and the letter ཉ་ (nya) of the ཙ་ (tsa) group, after abandoning them, on the moon in one's heart, starting from the right lung, mentally write the chain of sixteen letters between the letters ཀ་ (ka) etc. and ང་ (nga). Similarly, starting from the left lung, the chain of sixteen letters between the letters ད་ (da) etc. and ཀྵ་ (sha), thus write the circling of the two chains. Then, in the center of the two chains, like a silk thread, mentally write the chain of sixteen vowel sounds ཨ་ (a) etc. Therefore it is said: In the center dwells the chain of the letter ཨ་ (a), placed on the moon disc. Having a bindu and moon phase means that the fifteenth vowel sound dwells in the form of a bindu, completely established as the shape of the moon. The word "between" is a definite word, so it is only the shape of the moon. The full moon is two, the sixteen vowel sounds dwell in the aspect of fullness, contemplate as the image of two completely full moons. One should meditate on the unchanging letter ཨ་ (a), which means that the fifteenth vowel sound does not inherently have two moons, therefore meditate on the sprout of the unarisen letter ཨ་ (a), and contemplate that the letter ཨ་ (a) itself transforms into the image of a sprout.

It means "to do." Where and with what nature should one meditate on this sound-syllable sprout? It is said: "In the center, the vajra abides as the substance." This means that in the center of the moon mandala of one's own heart, in the center of the sound-syllables, first meditate on the nature of the vajra, etc., abiding. To constantly meditate on its center is: "Great desire, great bliss." This means that in the vase of the first vajra, etc., one meditates with constant union, and again and again manifests the syllable Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum) etc., the essence of nature, mantra, mudra, etc., and the enlightened syllable written in the center of the nature of the wisdom syllable as it is said, so the yogi constantly meditates with great desire and great bliss. Great desire and great bliss are shown by both, and also because it is the cause of arising, and also because it arises from it. "Great desire, great bliss" is said to be the mudra, mantra, and wisdom nature, glorious Vajrasattva. The oral instructions for meditating on it have already been explained above, so I will not repeat them. "This is of all Buddhas, known as the Buddha image." This means that after making Āli and Kāli equal, it turns outward from below, and below it all the letters are inserted with drawings, which is the meaning of this. Where is it said, this is the meaning of that. For what purpose should one insert the recited syllables in the center of the vajra residing in one's own heart and meditate? The answer is: "Arising from that," etc. Why? Because from this, all the natures of arising, occurring, and moving in the ten directions without exception are sentient beings of the nature of Vajrasattva, etc. Therefore, the yogi also desires to generate all of them in his own continuum in the nature of glorious Vajrasattva, etc. As it is said, in the center of the vajra, one should arrange the image of the glorious Buddha, the letters of the moon, etc., with the mind and meditate. Why is the first vajra the Bhagavan who can be closely examined, the speech without beginning or end? The answer is: "Born from the sky, because of its characteristics," etc., some
