Dwelling in that place, he manifests the emanation of light and inconceivable appearances of samadhi, etc. Sometimes, due to the power of past aspirations and the great compassion of illusion, he hears the sounds of encouragement from the ten directions, and then enters the womb of the queen Maya in the form of an elephant, and teaches the Dharma to the retinue. Sometimes, in the manner of Lumbini Garden, he emerges from his mother's right side, like lightning flashing from the darkness, and takes seven steps in each of the four directions. He perfects the affairs of the world with youthful play and amusement. Sometimes he renounces his home and goes forth, practicing great austerities. Sometimes, dwelling in one-pointed samadhi under the Bodhi tree, he purifies all the stains of obscuration and perfects the accumulations. Sometimes he destroys the hosts of the four maras and attains complete and perfect enlightenment on the Vajra Throne. Sometimes he gradually turns the Wheel of Dharma in accordance with the dispositions of those to be tamed. Sometimes he subdues the six heretical teachers and others with skillful means. Sometimes he seizes lazy disciples by manifesting the passing away of the emanation body, and teaches that all dharmas are of the nature of conditioned phenomena. Furthermore, if considered from the perspective of the emanation body, he benefits the three thousand worlds in an instant with the deeds of great compassion. In some realms, he begins by establishing all sentient beings in the mind of enlightenment, and in other realms, he accomplishes the benefit of beings by manifesting nirvana. The meaning of these is extensively explained in the vast Vinaya Pitaka and other texts. For individuals with exceptional faculties, he benefits them through the vehicle of secret mantra. For those who are tamed by the body: Sometimes he is the victor of the three realms, sometimes he is the lord of all accomplishments. Sometimes, and in some realms, he manifests his body in whatever way is necessary to benefit sentient beings. In the root tantra it says: Sometimes peaceful, with the form of Brahma, sometimes fierce, with the form of Yama, sometimes he also assumes the form of a wise man, sometimes he blazes like the fire at the end of time, sometimes he acts as the protector of beings, sometimes he acts as the destroyer of beings.

Sometimes appearing as a gathering of countless mandalas, sometimes appearing as a single hero, sometimes arranging the vessel and its contents, sometimes making the vessel and its contents empty, sometimes emanating peaceful and wrathful forms, and sometimes gathering the mandalas. Thus, through various mandala doors, they bless the beings to be tamed according to their needs. For those who are tamed by the vehicle of speech, sometimes all discriminations are considered supreme, the lord of accomplishments is unsurpassed. Just as the aggregates, elements, and sense bases have their own distinctions, many gradual vehicles are elaborated and taught based on both provisional and definitive meanings. In this regard, the root tantra says: 'To guide children of inferior intelligence, the path of inferior discrimination is taught. Dwelling in bad places, enduring hardships with weak strength, they do not see the bad realms of samsara. With the accumulation of discriminatory obscurations and the limits of places, they will not see the wisdom of liberation. Taking a little from liberation, it is the place of wisdom and compassion's inclination. The door of liberation is the boundless vehicle, thoroughly joined on the ground of liberation. For those who have faith in action and conduct, the secret mantra's meaningful action is the supreme great vehicle. Abiding in one's own wisdom place, the vast mantra practice is joined with the deity. Perfectly accomplishing the adornment of the world, it is perfected with the fruit of designation. For those with supreme intelligence who are well-trained, the profound secret manner is taught, one's own great bliss empowerment is most supreme, the liberation of various arrangements appears.' Thus. Again, from the door of vast activity, such as these, boundless and supreme, the sole lord of all Buddhas, Hevajra, as a means of taming, performs the dance of certainty, delighting and playing with various emanations. The deeds of qualities accomplished through manifest experience are used for the benefit of others from the door of boundlessness. The very body of the sole lord of all Buddhas, great bliss, teaches and practices the definitive meaning with various liberations of the means of taming through body, speech, mind, qualities, and activities. In this regard, the root tantra says: 'With body, speech, mind, qualities, and the activities arising from various actions, as a means of taming, the dance of certainty is performed, all are liberated in meaning.' From the door of conduct, the manner in which self-benefit is spontaneously accomplished in the nature of the result is: the supreme of all great accomplishments, steadfast empowerment.
