Explanation of the Meaning of Chapter Four Explanation of the Meaning of Chapter Four ༄. If one knows the meaning of that Suchness, then it should be made clear through practice, meditation, and accomplishment. Its companion is the order of conduct, ༄. which is entered through the door of four individuals. Therefore, the Root Tantra says: The means of knowing the naturally abiding, The characteristic of meditation and accomplishment, The supreme companion is the order of conduct, Entering through the manner of the four individuals. Thus it is. First, the general characteristic of conduct is: This is the Yoga Bhagavan, Vajrasattva Tathagata, All Buddhas are equally united, The supreme bliss of Dakini Maya, These phenomena and the animate and inanimate objects included in existence appear as the nature of self-born wisdom. With the various transformations of skillful means and wisdom, possessing its own Suchness, it abides in the state of the Bhagavan. Thereafter, there is not even a particle of movement from the nature of the spontaneously accomplished six bodies. Since it cannot be moved by all opposing factors, it is called by various names such as Vajrasattva and Great Bliss, and is the nature of all Tathagatas. The yogi who possesses it unites all actions performed from the three doors equally with all Buddhas according to the meaning of the secret mantra, and practices according to the manner of Dakini Maya bliss. That is also as the Root Tantra says: Seeing one's own wisdom, That nature itself, With one's own form clearly revealed, Actions that are in accordance with that conduct, The yogi does not intentionally do. Abiding in this state, That intelligent one is fortunate. Thus it is. First, the common conduct of the three individuals is shown in one place: United with all goddesses, Desiring the supreme and excellent good fortune, Experiencing the bliss of true union, One who has constant and firm attachment. The first practitioner separates by the distinction of the six realms, and unites equally with all goddesses through the sixty-four doors of skillful means and wisdom, and for the purpose of empowerment, assembly circles, accomplishment offerings, and seizing life force, excellent ༄. Enjoying the supreme desire, truly uniting.

Experiencing the bliss of descending, accumulating, and reversing the stream of bliss, enjoying the two attachments in a way that is free from the two attachments, and remaining constantly and firmly. By having some control over wisdom, and by having perfect control over wisdom, relying on the karma mudra in the manner of the higher meaning, holding onto bliss until the bliss of wisdom is born, and by merely seeing the means and wisdom, one becomes the most supreme of the fortunate ones, and the meaning that arises from those two meltings is gathered from all one's own places and spread everywhere, and other enjoyments of desire are also enjoyed according to the Dharma with one's own mudra, and by experiencing the bliss of true union, the body of great bliss becomes constantly firm. As the Root Tantra says: The door of union of means and wisdom, The supreme wisdom of entering action, Combine well in the order of dependence, Great attachment abides in dependence. The first finds the temporary truth, Joins the actions of self and beings. The second sees that very nature, The third generates the limb of mindfulness. Joining together with all the goddesses, Abiding in the supreme bliss of fortunate union. So it is said. The fourth supreme conduct is: The great form of all Buddhas, Sounds, smells, and tastes, And the supreme touch of all Buddhas, That is what one enjoys as one's own. The signs of the actual realization of the enjoyments of the six sense objects are the appearances of wisdom, and if any yogis who possess non-dual wisdom enjoy them in the mandala of gods and goddesses, then the uncontaminated wisdom that makes the body of great bliss manifest will increase. As the Root Tantra says: Whatever sense door arises, That and its very nature, By the union of knowing equally, All is Buddha-nature. Manifest. To the eye, the Lord who manifests various ornaments. To the ear, Vajra Sun King. To the nose, it is the excellent horse. To the mouth, Lotus Dance自在. To the mind, Vajra Heruka. To the body, Vajrasattva. Thus, one who possesses true union, Enjoys with the nature of compassion. By whatever actions one desires, Eats all, does all, and abides thus. Ear
