At all times, joy and displeasure, aggregates, etc., are the life of the nature of reason. "Knowing" means that it has reached everywhere and is all-pervasive, the purusha of the nature of knowing. The nature of what is to be known refers to the form of matter such as force particles, those born of force, self-aware ones, and agents. Continuity itself refers to independence; those who speak of independence say that the cause of all phenomena is independence itself. The true master of Dharma refers to the peaceful tenet; the great increase of Dharma such as merit is the great independence of the form of Dharma, and thus it is regarded as great independence. In order to clearly show that very reality, it speaks of similarity and difference in substance, the Dharma to be proven by oneness and multiplicity, and the Dharma in which reasons and examples are spoken of, and so on. The term "by multiplicity" speaks of the reason that oneness is not to be proven. Not multiple ༄། །appearing, this speaks of the reason why multiplicity does not become the Dharma to be proven. The example of the ocean of rivers is also considered an example of both; this should be said to take multiplicity and oneness as the example to be proven, because manifoldness is not established there, then how are the many dharmas such as the mind, which were spoken of immediately afterwards, established? Multiple things are those that have returned from one and have various aspects, so due to the cause of multiple dharmas, heretical minds, etc., appear in multiple aspects. What kind of close focus is there for something like this? It is said, "the stream of rivers," and so on. The word "stream" is a collector. How is the ocean where rivers flow, such as Sita, Sindhu, Ganga, etc.? The stream is the extreme flow of rivers; because of the flow, it will not be regarded as the Sindhu River, this is Sita, this is the Ganges, and focus on various things, similarly, the heretics who have become outside of the deep and immeasurable realm of Dharma, this is my life, purusha, pudgala, etc., appear as various differences, is there a form of plurality in that reality? The answer is no.

Said for the sake of the doctrine: The so-called "one" is the thusness that is to be manifested here, which is grasped as the form of "one." Why is it "one"? To this it is said: "Many," and so on. The so-called "many" are those such as the mind. If "many" exist in various forms, they will not arise, because they cannot be touched. Why does it become "many"? It is accomplished from "one." Just as many rivers are accomplished from the ocean. If various forms are understood by the cause of "many," then the rivers that flow into the ocean should also appear separately in various forms. Therefore, the reason why "it does not become many" is explained. To this, the rivers that exist by nature cannot be said to be "one" here for things with and without things, etc., as it is said: "Once water enters the water, it becomes the same taste. The various forms of good and bad in the mind, the remedies for ignorance are not explained." These have been said, the existence of mind and self, etc., cannot be understood by reason. Even if there is reason, all the dharmas of mind, etc., will enter into no-self. Therefore, they will not appear separately in various forms, just as the rivers that flow into the ocean do not appear separately in various forms. Because various forms are not established, it should be understood as the form of thusness "one." So, how is the thusness three obtained from the thusness one? To this it is said: "Know from the mouth of the lama," and so on. The lama is the one who teaches the tantras and mantras. His mouth is indicated by being close. Obtaining is knowing. To this, the instruction of the pith instructions is explained: "Inside," and so on. In what form do the veins exist in the body? Where do they exist? To this it is said: "In the center of the bhaga, the sky is full," and so on. The so-called sky is the empty space of the veins in the center of the lotus. What kind of characteristics does it have? To this it is said: "Five skies," and so on. The so-called five skies are blood, urine, and feces.
