The protection for practice should be cut off. This is the teaching about the practitioner. Peaceful, Blessings! The vessel for offering water can be silver, stone, conch shell, fish bladder, etc., or even tree leaves. Fill it with barley, milk, and water with a white fragrance. Recite your own deity's mantra, ending with Svaha (swāhā, Devanagari: स्वाहा, Romanization: svāhā, literal meaning: well said), seven times. The same applies to increasing practices, but especially, in vessels of gold, etc., place water with a yellow fragrance, sesame seeds, and yogurt. Recite with the ending of Om (oṃ, Devanagari: ॐ, Romanization: oṃ, literal meaning: Om). For subjugation, in vessels of copper, etc., place water with a red fragrance, reciting with the ending of Ho (ho, Devanagari: हो, Romanization: ho, literal meaning: Ho). For wrathful actions, in vessels of iron and skull, etc., place fragrance, and in vessels containing garlic, etc., place cow urine, with the ending of Krotapa and Phat (phaṭ, Devanagari: फट, Romanization: phaṭ, literal meaning: Phat). This is the ritual of offering. For pacifying, increasing, subjugating, and attracting practices, in all-purpose water, recite Hum (hūṃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanization: hūṃ, literal meaning: Hum) completely. Place two offering water vessels on the left, and then take from that fully recited water with the right hand, sprinkle it on burning materials such as poplar and firewood, and place it on the right side. For wrathful practices, place it in reverse. Spoons, pouring spoons, and butter are placed in front. Then pile up firewood about the size of the stove hole. For pacifying practices, use fire produced from rubbing milky wood, or the fire from a Brahmin's fire offering. For increasing practices, use the fire from a monastery's warming room, or the fire from a king's or noble's house. For subjugating practices, use the fire from a noble's or prostitute's house. For attracting practices, use the fire burned by dancers, wanderers, and on the road. For wrathful practices, use wood from a cemetery, rubbed stones, and the fire from a butcher's house. Then take water recited with Hum (hūṃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanization: hūṃ, literal meaning: Hum) with the tip of a Kusha grass, sprinkle it three times, put it together with clean and dry grass, ignite it with a fan, and ignite it with butter while reciting Om Vajra Jvala Jvala Hum Hum (oṃ vajra jvāla jvāla hūṃ hūṃ) three times. Blessings! After reciting Om Vajrasattva Ah (oṃ vajrasattva āḥ), cover the outside of the stove hole in order with moist Kusha grass that has not withered and is not too long, with the tip pointing east, and create the stove hole with the letter Hum (hūṃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanization: hūṃ, literal meaning: Hum), in which transform Ram (raṃ) into a fire deity in accordance with the activity.
