English

Thus, just as the external enemies and obstacles such as demons are subdued by the earth, similarly, the demons of discriminatory thoughts arising from one's own mind should also be abandoned by the enclosure of generosity paramita and so on. As it is said in the Uttaratantra of the Sahaja Samyoga Hevajra: "Demons arise from one's own mind, because of clinging to miserliness in the past." Thus. Because of wanting to rely solely on that, it is said: "Without demons, not by demons." And so on. The yogi with the flower of patience, and so on, means to fill with the flower of patience and give. What is the difference between the previous patience and this? Only the difference of mind. Also, like being struck by weapons such as swords, one endures without thinking anything, cultivating loving-kindness; and how to rob harsh words and so on, the patience of not thinking anything. For example, like loving-kindness and compassion. Thus, by focusing on emptiness.

This refers to placing it on the secret lotus. The eighteen places are: the breasts and fingertips, the throat, the lower lip, the cheeks, the eyes, the roots of the ears, the crown of the head, and the supreme limb—the secret place. If one touches the nine places up and down twice in the manner of the waxing and waning of the moon, one can transform the eighteen places. Therefore, it is said in eights: breasts, fingertips, throat, lower lip, as well as cheeks, eyes, ears, crown of the head, supreme limb. In all these places, one should drink, applying ghee upwards when wearing white clothes, and reversing it when wearing black clothes. ༄། At the base of the thumb is the letter अ (Tibetan, Devanagari अ, Romanized Sanskrit a, literal Chinese meaning: A). At both knees is similarly आ (Tibetan, Devanagari आ, Romanized Sanskrit ā, literal Chinese meaning: Ah). At both thighs is the letter इ (Tibetan, Devanagari इ, Romanized Sanskrit i, literal Chinese meaning: I). The letter ई (Tibetan, Devanagari ई, Romanized Sanskrit ī, literal Chinese meaning: Ii) is practiced in secret. At the base of the navel is the letter उ (Tibetan, Devanagari उ, Romanized Sanskrit u, literal Chinese meaning: Wu). Similarly, contracted is the letter ऊ (Tibetan, Devanagari ऊ, Romanized Sanskrit ū, literal Chinese meaning: Wu). At the base of the breasts is the letter ऋ (Tibetan, Devanagari ऋ, Romanized Sanskrit ṛ, literal Chinese meaning: Re). The letter ॠ (Tibetan, Devanagari ॠ, Romanized Sanskrit ṝ, literal Chinese meaning: Ree) resides in the hand. At the throat alone is the letter ऌ (Tibetan, Devanagari ऌ, Romanized Sanskrit ḷ, literal Chinese meaning: Li). Similarly, at the crown of the head is the letter ॡ (Tibetan, Devanagari ॡ, Romanized Sanskrit ḹ, literal Chinese meaning: Li). At the cheeks is the letter ए (Tibetan, Devanagari ए, Romanized Sanskrit e, literal Chinese meaning: Ai). Similarly, ऐ (Tibetan, Devanagari ऐ, Romanized Sanskrit ai, literal Chinese meaning: Ai) is at both eyes. At the roots of the ears is the letter ओ (Tibetan, Devanagari ओ, Romanized Sanskrit o, literal Chinese meaning: O). The letter औ (Tibetan, Devanagari औ, Romanized Sanskrit au, literal Chinese meaning: Ao) resides at the crown of the head. अं (Tibetan, Devanagari अं, Romanized Sanskrit aṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Ang) अ (Tibetan, Devanagari अ, Romanized Sanskrit a, literal Chinese meaning: A) is on all the limbs and body. The rituals should be combined and practiced. Kissing and embracing, and so on, caressing and union, and so on, examine these places and then unite, contemplate each letter. Just by contemplating in this way, the woman will be delighted, and not by other means. Even if the man and woman do not have sexual union, just by caressing, a beautiful person will be delighted. Like this. All nectar resides in them, which means that bodhicitta resides in the eighteen places, like this. To clearly explain the meaning of what is said, it is said: After moving that finger, the nectar water will drip. Like this. Therefore, it is said that as soon as one starts moving, one should stabilize the great mudra, unite in non-duality, and begin the action. After placing and embracing each other, and so on. Among them, embracing refers to: the embrace taken with great compassion that transcends the world, for the sake of enabling those who are drowning in the mire of ignorance to attain the supreme fruit. Place facing east, and so on. This refers to: in non-dual equanimity, the consort facing east.

It should be observed. The meaning is as follows: Because the deity to be practiced is primarily the goddess, and the god is not primary. Therefore, it is reasonable for the goddess's face to face east, especially since this is the tantra of the dakini. Thus it is said, "The king's daughter," the second is the main one, so it is relied upon in the same way. Why is the most excellent ritual spoken of in such a special way? "The goddesses who playfully throw," refers to the goddesses who dwell in a playful lotus posture. Vajra, refers to: Vajrasattva, a powerful body. How is it powerful? It is said: with foot pressing foot. Those actions are said to be dwelling. That is, the form of the yogi's dwelling, the examination has two forms. Thus it is also said: place it outside the body, fill it with the woman's feet. In order to show the two forms of dwelling, in order to distinguish the male's way of dwelling. "The left bell and vajra are placed on the thighs," means: the left hand of Prajnaparamita should be placed under the root of the thigh, which means the desire of great compassion. The right hand is placed, because it is already related above, so it is not said here. Only embracing, without means, it is impossible to benefit all kinds of sentient beings. Only manifesting that, so various manifestations are spoken of. "The bell and vajra are spoken of with both hands," that is the meaning. One should not dwell in the conceptualizations of ordinary individuals who have never existed, as it is said, "The two seeds should be recited," and so on. "The goddess throwing to the left is, the face facing south," means: the goddess throwing from the left and dwelling, should be placed with the face facing south. Vajra, that is also the Victor, means: Vajrasattva, that should also dwell with the face facing north, say as much as there is. "The two soles of the feet should also be squeezed," means: the two soles of the goddess's feet should squeeze the two palms of Vajrasattva. "The vajra on the right is the breast, similarly one hand is placed in the secret place," means: Vajrasattva. Bell and vajra with both hands, feet
