Furthermore, it is said that the consciousness that enters the great ocean of the Alaya-consciousness is like the long waves of a river in a region. Also, in the three baskets, it says: "It travels far and abides in one, it enters the hole of the bodiless faculty, it tames the mind that is difficult to tame, this is what the Brahmin said, it is liberated from the bonds of Mara." Also, in the King of Tantras itself, it says: "The agent and the actor are the Alaya-consciousness itself, like a worm in a tube." Also, in Glorious Buddha-Skull, it says: "The one mind is like a stainless mirror, whatever is thought is a reflection, although it is known to be like a dream, yet it is grasped by discrimination." Also, in the Vajra-Amrita Arising Tantra, it says: "Consciousness is one." And so on. Reasonably, the eight consciousnesses are not reasonable, because some of the four wisdoms, such as the mirror-like wisdom and the Alaya-consciousness, focus on the subject, and some focus on both the dharma and the subject. If the wisdom that focuses on the subject is not the wisdom of the Buddha, because it focuses on the subject, like sentient beings. Some say that the Alaya-consciousness is constant, while the transforming consciousness is impermanent. In this regard, it should be examined whether it arises and ceases momentarily. Many of them admit that the Alaya-consciousness is momentary, and there is no difference between momentary impermanence and constant impermanence in momentary impermanence, because they are both impermanent. For example, mind-consciousness. Therefore, the many consciousnesses are not many, but only one is doubt. Some may think like this: the aggregates of feeling, perception, and volition, and the distinctions of self-awareness, etc., are consciousness because they are experienced. How is the aggregate of form consciousness? Answer: Also in the Abhidharma Sutra, it says: "Not made of atoms, the Alaya appears like the earth, just as milk transforms, and qualities like curd and whey arise, so too, consciousness transforms, and after transforming, it appears as form."
