It is well said that this is the definitive understanding of the mandala of the heart. Now, I will describe the characteristics of the horse-throne as described in the root tantra. Here, the horse-throne is always three times the size of the door. In this case, the mandala of the heart is six and a half fingers for the door, and three times that, eighteen and a half fingers, becomes the horse-throne. That itself should be made into three layers. The first layer is six and a half fingers. The second layer is four and a half fingers. The third layer is three and a half fingers. Then, use two fingers for the harami, and two fingers for the vase, so that the three-layered horse-throne is made with eighteen parts. Among them, on the first layer, on top of the pillars, use half a finger's worth of cloth, the length being twenty-four and a half fingers. On top of that, use half a finger's worth to protect the drunkards, the length being sixteen and a half fingers. On top of that, with the size of the navel of the heart, in the center is the square position of the offering goddesses. To its right and left are half-finger pillars. To the right and left of those are again the positions of the goddesses. Then again, to the right and left are pillars. To the right and left of those, on the pillars of the horse-throne, are a pair of lions pressing down on elephants, with their heads looking up. On top of those heads and on top of the four pillars, the cloth becomes half the amount of the cloth below, the length being eighteen and a half fingers. On top of that, like the root protectors of the drunkards, are the protectors of the drunkards, the length being twelve and a half fingers. On top of that, use a measure of half a finger, less than a foot, for each pillar. Between the pillars, use three and a half fingers for the position of the deities, or the position of the three women. To the right and left of the owner of the outer pillars, make the Salabhanjika. On top of those heads and on top of the four pillars, again use half a half-finger's worth of cloth, the length being fifteen and a half fingers. On top of that, as before, use half a finger to protect the drunkards, the length being eight and a half fingers. On top of that, use half a half-finger's worth for each pillar. Between the pillars, use half the amount of the position of the deities in the root layer for the three positions.

Oṃ! Moreover, on the right and left of the outer pillar heads, again make śālabhañjikā figures. Above that, with half portions, make twelve-finger-width cloths. Above that, make eight and a half fingers, not too long. Above that, make two vases, the right and left are the places for the handles of the victory banners. Similarly, at the top of each cloth, there are fly-whisks, hanging mirrors, and victory banners, which are the measurements and characteristics of the stirrups mentioned in the root tantra. Now, the speech mandala is described, with six grids below the stirrups, the cloths of the yoginīs connected with jewel lotuses. Here, for the speech mandala, in the four directions, out of the four parts that are the nature of six and a half fingers, two parts are used to arrange the enclosure, platform, jewel cloth, necklace, half necklace, bakulī, and kramaśīrṣa of the heart essence mandala, and the remaining two parts remain. Out of those parts, discard one part. In the six grids of the other parts, discard one grid each above and below. In the center, with four parts, make the cloth of the eight-petaled lotuses of the yoginīs. In all directions and corners, there are lotuses. In the directions, below the stirrups, protecting the intoxication on the second tier, spread half a finger and a half on the twin pillars, place four and a half fingers, and make the lotuses of the yoginīs. If there are no goddesses, then again it is the previously mentioned characteristic. By the same characteristic, starting from the gate of the outer speech mandala, everything up to the end of the stirrups becomes doubled, this is certain. Starting from "From then on," etc., the body mandala is described, here, for the body mandala, in the four directions, out of the four parts that are the nature of twelve and a half fingers, two parts are used to arrange the enclosure, platform, jewel cloth, necklace, half necklace, bakulī, and kramaśīrṣa of the speech mandala, and the remaining two parts remain. Then, starting from the edge of the speech mandala, with the time transformed by taste, that is, twenty-four and a half fingers, it becomes the place of auspicious color, up to between the five lines.
