Separate from the mother and abiding on their respective mounts, those called "Hands of Intellect" are four-armed and three-eyed, with diverse faces. Among them, on the eastern lotus is Tsarchi Ka (ཙ་རྩི་ཀཱ་), a one-faced black deity. In the southeast is the Mistress of the Sky-goers, the All-pervading Mother (ཁྱབ་འཇུག་མ་). The Sow-faced Mother and the Six-faced Mother are red in color, being Yama and the Separation from Truth. In the south is the Empowering Mother, a yellow deity. In the southwest is the Water-treasure-faced Mother, all yellow. In the north is the Wrathful Mother, a white one-faced deity. In the northwest is the Glorious Mother, a white deity. Thus, the chief goddess abiding at the navel, whatever her color and form, so too are the goddesses abiding on their petals. Thus, the eight yoginis on the eight petals of the lotus, abiding on the lotus petals, are of the same color and face as the chief goddess. Now, beginning with the east, the signs on the two right hands of Tsarchi Ka and the others are spoken of in order: Here, in the east, Tsarchi Ka's first hand holds a curved knife, and the second holds a trident. The All-pervading Mother holds a wheel and a club. The Sow-faced Mother holds a staff and a sword. The Youthful Mother holds a Shakti and an iron hook. The Empowering Mother holds a vajra and an arrow. The Brahma Mother holds a lotus and Brahma's staff. The Wrathful Mother holds a trident and a damaru. The Great Glorious Mother holds a lotus and a rosary—these are held in the two right hands. Likewise, so it is with the goddesses of the petals. Then, for the two left hands, beginning with the east in order: Tsarchi Ka's left hand holds a skull cup in the first hand and a khatvanga in the second. The All-pervading Mother holds a lotus and a conch. The Sow-faced Mother holds an iron fetter and a shield. The Youthful Mother holds a jewel and a noose. The Empowering Mother holds a bell and a bow. The Brahma Mother holds a water pot and a vessel. The Wrathful Mother holds a khatvanga and a snake. The Great Glorious Mother holds a lotus and the jewel itself. Thus, on the lotus treasure petals, the weapons held in the hands of the eight yoginis are the same, that is, as the chief goddess—this is certain. Now, these will become their names: on the lotus petals of Tsarchi Ka and the others, beginning with the east and going clockwise, the petal goddesses of Tsarchi Ka and the others should be known. Among them, the first petal is the Fearful Mother, and the second petal and so on are the Wrathful Mother, and the Time-fang Mother, and the Fire-
