Make holes at the location of the two apexes. Insert the spokes of the wheel into those holes and nail them together with the axle. On the circumference of the wheel, there is a fixed iron pivot, inserted into the round hole of the base, which rotates together with the wheel. Then, at the four corners of that base, there are four pillars with a width of one 'nay' (Tibetan: གནས།) unit for the hands and a height of two 'nay' units. These pillars are also divided into four directions by ropes, as well as below and above. Even vehicles are driven by even horses. Uneven vehicles are driven by uneven horses. Two, four, and six are even horses. Three, five, and seven are uneven horses. Uneven vehicles, from the 'nay' unit, are half the size of even ones. Half of the upper part is the fighter's position, that is, the pillars at the top abandon one 'nay' unit in size, and at the half-size position is the fighter's position. It becomes half the size of the 'nay' unit, determined by the height of the even and uneven pulling horses or elephants. The width is eight fingers and the height is twice the 'nay' unit, nailed together with the ropes. Then, below and above the 'nay' unit part, it becomes half the position of the emblem, above four fingers. That position is decorated with mirrors, necklaces, victory banners, etc., and the word 'etc.' includes fly-whisks, canopies, and bells, etc. In the middle of the fighter's position and the emblem's position, for the purpose of fighting, it is very clear in the four directions. The phrase 'one and a half units, two parts' means that below the fundamental 'nay' unit, the fighter's position occupies one unit. The very clear part occupies half a unit, and there are emblems, etc., these are even parts. The so-called 'crescent moon with pointed hands' refers to the ropes of the pillars above the fundamental 'nay' unit, at the pulling position, the part with the size of four fingers occupies one unit. Then, at the position where the pillars fight, the part with the size of four fingers occupies two units. Then, above the pillars, the part with the size of four fingers occupies three units, and above that is the position of the emblems such as victory banners. The so-called 'unit with a semi-circle' refers to the 'nay' unit and those previously mentioned above. From the part with half, it is circular. Joyful.

“འི་དབྱེ་བ་དག་ལ་ཞེས་པ་ནི་” refers to the types of joyful chariots, the base of the lotus chariot becomes square. According to the order of what was said, the measurement of the wheel together with its support, for a horse chariot, becomes half a cubit. For an elephant chariot, it becomes twice the measurement of a horse chariot. The determination of the wheel, place, rope, and signs, etc., is like this. Here, the chariot of the lotus lineage of the gods becomes round. The chariot made by the son of the gods is of the joyful lineage, which is square. The chariots of other people are also square, that is, of the Kshatriya lineage. Eight and water-treasury (སྲོག་ཤིང་, srog shing, Tree of Life), wheels, etc., these three, here the great chariot is equal to half, which means that here with four Trees of Life and eight wheels, it becomes a great chariot that does not retreat on the battlefield. The Trees of Life below and above, and four wheels, the chariot becomes half. Therefore, "eight" refers to the wheels. "Water-treasury" refers to the four Trees of Life. Thus, the three, that is, four wheels, and similarly two. Similarly, it refers to the Trees of Life. The chariot is equal to half of the chariot, that is, equal. The supreme chariot of the sun is one wheel, which means that one wheel becomes the chariot of the gods, and similarly it becomes the chariot of the sun. "Unequal" and so on are easy to understand. One Tree of Life and two wheels, it becomes an equal chariot, that is, the back of the yoke is destroyed, this is the determination of the characteristics of the chariot. Now, the characteristics of the palaces of the gods and the houses where the lords of men travel are explained, that is, "six" and so on. Here, the pillar is twenty cubits high, twenty fingers wide, there are four, the four sides of these become equal holes, one side of the hole is the measure of six cubits. The second is the measure of five cubits. The third becomes the measure of four cubits. The fourth becomes the measure of three cubits. Abandoning one cubit each below and above, the edge of the hole becomes visible. The part of the root becomes thirteen cubits on the ground. From the part of the root upwards, the part of the ground becomes half, that is, half a cubit.
