The self-originated great one is the embodiment of self-nature, The self-aware bliss is the great perfection, The compassionate appearance is the emanation body, The essence is the unestablished secret mind. Appearance and non-appearance are inseparable, Existence and non-existence are the mind of enlightenment. Appearances and self-awareness are distinct, Meanings and symbols, and so forth, Various appearances are habitual imprints. The mind of delusion is not truly real, It transforms according to the power of thought. The secret wisdom of the Sugata, Unseen, due to conceptual proliferation, is the pith instruction of emptiness and awareness. Free from the movement of memory and thought-wind, Meditate without arising at the extremes. It is neither Dharma nor Dharmata, Like the sky, without self, It is the nature of empty wisdom. Self-nature is empty, without characteristics, Endowed with the three liberations, it is great bliss. Without attachment, enter from the ground-path, When abiding in the state of no-characteristics, The self-originated fruit arises spontaneously. Qualities are equal to the sky, without limit. In the appearance of one's own wisdom, The blazing mandala is naturally clear. The continuous wheel is the essence of the body, Unattached purity is the ornament of awareness. Self-aware clarity is itself samadhi. The inexhaustible wheel is inconceivable. In the quiescence of emptiness, free from extremes, In equanimity, without entering into concepts, The quiescence of no-characteristics is connected to insight. From wherever one abides on the path of faith-entry, One understands through the meaning of non-conceptual clarity. The wisdom that is free from thought, Enters into the essential meaning through conceptualization. Awareness without means is sought through effort, Like a goldsmith desiring gold from ore. If one is not separated from the mind of desire, One grasps at the essential meaning as self. If one hopes for the mind of bliss, It is quiescence that follows after conceptualization. Without realizing one's own body as mind, One grasps at the form of a deity like a painted image. Seeking the nature of reality through the solitude of the body. When one knows one's own body as mind, Wherever one abides, the mind itself is solitary. When one knows phenomena and existence as mind, The faculties and limbs are clear wisdom. In the self-nature of the essential meaning, One does not meditate on anything, nor is it anything. Uncontrived, like the mind of a cowherd, The self-abiding wheel of awareness itself, Is not abandoned or placed in the three times. One does not grasp at anything, nor is there any negation. In the self-nature of the essential meaning, Since there is no good or bad, The perfect view has no acceptance or rejection. The unentered samadhi is without distraction, Luminosity is the very mind of the Victorious Ones. Self-originated, uncontrived by intention, The pure body, speech, and mind of the Victorious Ones.

Homage! Effortless essence arises from meaning, In the very meaning of Bodhicitta, There is the definitive single vehicle, the meaning of essence. Four mudra stages, six unions, Various vehicles of thought, Are merely guiding, not definitive. Inherent nature has no high or low, It is merely conceptualization of faith and entry. Mind-essence is uniquely impartial, Not a path of many fruitless endeavors. Unfabricated yoga is the path of completion, Non-abiding nature is one in mind. Without traversing, the ultimate fruit, Devoid of cause and condition, there is no birth or cessation. Primordially self-arisen, clear in essence, How the six consciousnesses appear, And in the nature of Nirvana, Inseparably self-arisen, one in mind. The six realms are mental constructs, And wisdom is self-illuminating awareness, Without difference, they are one in essence. The appearance of the three realms of Samsara, And the very wisdom of Nirvana, Arise as two through realization and non-realization, The realized ones meet in their own mind-essence. Free from seeking others, hope, and effort, One's own mind is pure, the primordial Buddha, The very mind of Samantabhadra, the Victorious One, is bliss. All limitless beings, Possess the inherent wisdom of the Victorious Ones, How can you not contemplate the inconceivable self-nature? Wisdom is equal to the sky of space, Do not fixate, let go of actions, Whatever subtle or gross appearances of Samsara and Nirvana may arise, Abide in the self-settled, inconceivable state, and it is bliss. Just like the appearance of water, Subtle and gross discriminations are all wisdom, Self-awareness, primordial like a lotus, Though dwelling in Samsara, it is pure from the beginning. Whatever characteristics of signs may arise, Like water and wood, they have no essence. In the Samsara obscured by ignorance, Awareness is clear like a lamp. However conceptualizations may transform, The stream of self-awareness, primordial, is never severed. Like the mind at dawn and the face at dusk, The meaning of wisdom is clear in the same way. Without cultivation, self-illumination arises naturally, Fortunate, unfabricated yogis, If you abide on the expanse of mind-essence, Body, speech, and effort naturally subside. The non-conceptual wisdom of bliss, Has reached the essence of luminous prajna. Ultimately, self-arisen, non-conceptual, The stainless, victorious wisdom is clear. Self-abiding, it pervades all beings, Like space, without separation, It is not other than the minds of beings. The awareness that arises spontaneously in the state of non-thought, Possesses the characteristic of bliss, The wisdom that purifies grasping, Is naturally unmade.
