From "བ་ནས། ཛྷ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་བྱིན་པ་གཉིས། །" to "ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་," the symbolism of the purifier and the holder thereof (ting de 'dzin) is revealed. "བ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་" and "རྦ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་" symbolize the goddess of the mandala (འཁོར་ལོ) of the assembly of heroes, as well as the goddess of offering through granting (བཀས།) and giving (གནང་བས), and the common symbolism of the enjoyer of the limbs and the practitioner (kun spyod ma). If one asks, what is this symbolism like? It has already been said, "དེ་དག་ཡི་གེ་རེ་རེ་ཞིང༌། །." If one asks, whose symbolism is this? It has already been said, "དཔའ་བོའི་སྲིང་མོའི་བརྡར་ཤེས་བྱ། །," which refers to the symbolism of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the pure lands (གནས་གཙང་མ). If one asks, what use is this to a beginner yogi now? It has already been said, "ཡི་གེའི་དམ་ཚིག་ཕྱག་རྒྱ་ཤེས། །," which means that beginner yogis should understand the mudra of the vow of the unpolluted letters. Having explained the symbolism of each letter in this way, now wanting to explain the symbolism of "དག་," it is said, "རྡོ་རྗེ་སྙིང་པོ་ལ་སོགས་པ། །," etc., which is asking about the symbolism of speech. If one does not understand the symbolism of speech, in order to make future beginner yogis understand that they do not understand the symbolism of the unpolluted, one prays for the explanation of the great bliss. The answer was granted, "དེ་དག་ང་ཡིས་མདོར་བསྡུས་ཏེ། །," etc., these are the symbols of the speech of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, although they are extensively explained in the Hundred Thousand Tantras, but in order to be of close use to the yogis, they are briefly explained, concentrate with the wisdom of hearing, and listen with the wisdom of thinking. Starting from "པྲོ་ཏཾ་གི་," and up to "ངག་གི་བརྡ་ཡི་གེ་ཤེས་སོ། །," the symbolism of "དག་" is revealed, in order for the beginner yogis to understand the symbolism in the twenty-four sacred places (གནས་ཉེར་བཞི), the approximate symbolism is revealed, and after obtaining the signs of the generation and completion stages, during the three pure times of obtaining accomplishment, it is the wisdom of the symbolism of "དག་" that transforms into a branch of accomplishment. Having revealed the symbolism of speech in this way, now the symbolism of body is revealed, namely "མཉམ་དང་འདུག་དང་འཕྲལ་བ་དང༌། །ལྟུང་བརྟག་ཏུ་གསུངས་པ་སྟེ། །," which refers to the fact that at the time of obtaining accomplishment, it is transformed into a branch of the practitioner through the wheel of viewing (འཁྲུལ་འཁོར).

Regarding this, first is the explanation of equality. As the scripture says, "In subduing, indicate from the left." It means that when obtaining accomplishment, or during the time of deities or activities, if one subdues the four castes, relying on the flow of air through the left channel, with both eyes gazing at the nostrils, it is said that accomplishment will be achieved. Second, summoning is the act of relying on the flow of air through the right channel, with both eyes looking upwards. Third, binding is the act of relying on the equally flowing air, with both eyes gazing at the tip of the nose. Fourth, killing is the act of relying on the slowly flowing air, with both eyes looking straight at the tip of the nose. From these acts of gazing, the flow of air and the union are shown. As the scripture says, "In falling, arising outwardly." It means that the air flows outward, and in union with the syllable ཧཱུྃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hum), it should be emitted outward. The syllable ཨ་ (Tibetan: ཨ་, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal meaning: A) and the air entering the body, through the vase breathing method, one should subdue. In summoning, it is in union with the syllable ཨོཾ་ (Tibetan: ཨོཾ་, Devanagari: ओं, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal meaning: Om) and the air entering the body. In binding, it is in union with the syllable ཧེ་ (Tibetan: ཧེ་, Devanagari: हे, Romanized Sanskrit: he, Literal meaning: He) and the end of peace, ཨ་ཝ་ནྡྷཱུ་ཏཱིར་ (Tibetan: ཨ་ཝ་ནྡྷཱུ་ཏཱིར་, Devanagari: avanadhūtiḥ, Romanized Sanskrit: avanadhūtiḥ, Literal meaning: Subjugation), making it small. Having thus shown the mudra of gazing, the limb of accomplishment, the fire offering, is shown. As the scripture says, "In falling, from the dripping wood." It means that with the gaze of killing and the mantra of killing, accompanied by the mudra, one should perform the fire offering with soft wood such as pala wood, shala wood, and so on. With the gaze of subduing and the mantra, one should perform the fire offering of flowers. With the gaze of summoning and the mantra, one should perform the fire offering of vajra wood, that is, white sandalwood. With the gaze of binding and the mantra, one should perform the fire offering of the swaying root, that is, calamus. As the scripture says, "By learning through six months of union." It means that if it is not accomplished, this is the ritual of repetition. Through the union of fire offering, repeating for six months, it will surely be accomplished, without doubt. If one is not familiar with the samadhi of the mind, one might think: how can it be accomplished merely through gazing and speech? As the scripture says, "The Buddha's miracles are inconceivable, do not doubt this as deception." It means that the Buddha's uncontaminated miracles are inconceivable, therefore do not doubt that this collection of dependent arising is deception. Then, what is its samadhi and equipment like? It is Vajrasattva and so on.
