If the nature is one, how do the kinds become many? Thinking this, I asked: How do so many natures arise from the extremely small and condensed luminosity? The Blessed One replied: As it is said in the 'Bodhisattva Pitaka': On top of a single atom, many Buddha-fields reside, neither separating nor narrowing each other. And as it is said in the 'Avatamsaka Sutra': Although you do not possess the ability to abide in the realm of Dharma, please abide, please abide, god possessing the ten powers. Just like that, here, although the self-aware luminosity of the mind is one, some realize the emptiness of Dharma from the image of form, some from the image of sound, some from the image of smell, some from the image of taste, some realize Dharma from the image of touch, some realize from desire, anger, and ignorance, and some realize from earth, water, fire, wind, space, and the wind of the five elements. The infinite kinds of realizing Dharma nature are also born depending on the accumulation of causes and conditions of the four mudras. Having explained the characteristics of the object in this way, the characteristics of the union of meaning are explained as: The characteristics arising from union. And so on, it is said that union is the characteristic of the equal union of the four methods and the four mudras. For arising, it is the alaya consciousness and wisdom. The characteristic is the direct realization of bliss and emptiness, free from the eighty natures. Wishing to explain it, he calls to the goddess and says to listen directly. In the joy of the supreme secret, all natures always abide. Wishing to explain the meaning of this sentence, he says: The secret is called the earth element. And so on, it is said that in the meaning of the letters, it is the beginning of the five perfections. The intention of the Blessed One himself speaking of the beginning is to explain the direct realization of the wisdom of the first ground, relying on the action mudra or the samaya mudra. The action mudra and the samaya mudra, from the center of the overlapping illusory wheel, and from the center where the channels of water, fire, and wind reside, if you touch the Avadhuti (Tibetan: ཨ་ཝ་དྷཱུ་ཏཱི་, Sanskrit Devanagari: अवधूती, Sanskrit Romanization: Avadhūtī, Chinese literal meaning: Defiled) space channel, you can obtain non-conceptual wisdom.
