Therefore, one should begin to practice the conduct that surpasses all directions. Why is it called surpassing all directions? Because "liberated from all obstacles, accomplishing all wishes," this shows the abandonment and greatness. What is called surpassing directions is: "The things that dwell in the ten directions, the grasper and the grasped are all abandoned," This is because there is no realization of bliss, so in the four conducts, because of being free from grasper and grasped, it is called surpassing all directions. Having explained the words in this way, now from the perspective of the path of attachment, thus for a while the yogi, "after stabilizing in the indestructible," it is said, placing the indestructible life in the Avadhuti, and contemplating the samadhi of bliss and emptiness. Extremely beautiful and desirous, "the vidya goddess should be taken," this refers to the goddess of beneficence and subjugation. The goddess, joyful and playful, this refers to the co-emergent one. Adorned with precious ornaments and so on, the daughter who holds intelligence, this refers to the one born from the mantra of practice and accomplishment. "Devas and yakshas or," this refers to devas and gandharvas being sky-goers, yakshas and rakshasas being earth-goers. "The asuras dwelling underground, and the daughters of nagas," this refers to those who practice underground, thus one should take those born in the twenty-four places. The yogi from among them, "whichever desired family goddess one," this means co-emergent, mantra-born, and place-born, practicing whichever one desires. With the union of hook and rope, drawing near and gathering, this means the union of reversing the wind upwards is the hook, and pulling the two winds left and right is the rope. Drawing near means reversing the bodhicitta, effortlessly giving worldly, common, and supreme accomplishments, as well as the bliss of meditation that liberates from old age and sickness, and liberation from the discriminations of the three realms. Having thus explained the conduct of surpassing all directions on the path of attachment, now explaining the surpassing of directions on the path of liberation, that is, after giving the body as alms, from the external conduct

One should begin to practice. Having said this, starting from the mind of non-attachment to the body, as a sign of non-attachment, having obtained the five signs of calm abiding such as smoke and mirages, and the eight signs of insight such as a lamp, after that one should begin to practice. Because of distinguishing those with and without fortune, therefore one should not abandon. The meaning of this is that for those who are without fortune and have not received empowerment, one should not show the secret instructions on how to meditate on the completion stage, but for those who have fortune, having obtained empowerment, wisdom, and prajna wisdom, one must show the meaning that one has experienced through meditating on the completion stage, therefore it is said that one should not abandon. Therefore, practice will also become for the benefit of others, this is its summary. Through food and feasts that arise, whatever is obtained should be eaten. The meaning of this is that one should eat food that transcends the discrimination of acceptance and rejection, without discrimination. For discriminations such as liking and disliking, one should not be particularly attached to this. The meaning of this is that without acceptance or rejection, one should practice the five objects of desire, this is its summary. Through the precepts and rituals, and shame, one is liberated. The meaning of this is that the precepts are the precepts of the Hearers and Bodhisattvas, after one has obtained the power of wisdom and prajna wisdom, at the moment of directly realizing bliss and emptiness, from the Hearers' precepts which are the antidote for the first practitioner, and the Bodhisattva's precepts, one is liberated from what is spoken for the sake of guidance. Rituals refer to meditating on the artificial yoga of the generation stage, at the time of realizing the meaning of bliss and emptiness, one is liberated from artificiality. That is, some people, having found an elephant, would still look for the elephant's footprints? Just as it is said, for example, some people in order to reach the other shore, rely on a boat to seek their purpose, and after reaching the other shore they abandon the boat, external artificiality should also be abandoned in the same way. From shame, the meaning of this is that even though bathing and cleanliness etc. are praised in the world, if one abandons them one would feel ashamed, but when one realizes bliss and emptiness, one should be liberated from the eight worldly dharmas. The nature of existence is Sugata, the meaning of this is that through wisdom one realizes emptiness, therefore one does not abide in existence. Through the union of great compassion, one declines.
