The lands that are used also change as desired, and there is no lower realm. If there is no merit, then there is no good realm either, so what is there to talk about liberation? Furthermore, if there is no karma, because there is no birth, either there is constant liberation, or it is never. If there is no bondage, from where does liberation come? Because of this, some people suspect that this is overturning everything without completely cutting it off, so they said "merit" etc. The supreme means the unsurpassed, meaning that one should strive to pursue it. Or it is the realm of the self-nature of supreme wisdom. Or it is the supreme meaning, that is, the practice of the wisdom of the path should be cultivated, the supreme meaning is the Buddha himself. There, the nature of merit as the causal state should be abandoned, because merit and its conceptualization, as well as habitual tendencies, should be abandoned. The non-conceptualization of merit in the state of fruition exists, because the Vajra of Bodhicitta is the nature of all merit. Sin is not, because even in the state of ordinary beings, it is not universally practiced, so it is impossible. In the land of ordinary beings, it is the most profound. Therefore, it is said, "Who holds" etc. The meaning is that if everyone carefully analyzes, the five aggregates are also without self-nature in the ultimate truth. However, conventional truths exist. Therefore, the sins and merits contained in the aggregate of formations exist in name only. Among them, sin is the ten non-virtuous actions of body, speech, and mind, including natural transgressions and consequential transgressions. Merit is the nature of generosity etc. These merits and non-merits are also said to be the adornment of the Buddha's intention. Among them, non-merit is an unpleasant result, so it should be abandoned. Merit is the cause of good realms and liberation from samsara, so it should be accepted. Just use this example to understand, such as "the other shore" etc., crossing over means crossing the river. Abandoning means the boat. Similarly, Dharma, that is, the merit that should be accepted, and Dharma.

Therefore, evil should be eliminated by oneself. Relying on it, abiding especially with wisdom, transcending samsara, reaching the other shore of samsara to the state of Vajradhara, generating the mind of bodhicitta on the uninterrupted path. Immediately after that, one realizes the state of enlightenment, the Buddha fruit. So, how should one completely abandon worldly sins, just as one should also abandon worldly impure conduct? Because such a doubt arises, the answer is given by summarizing, therefore, etc. The net of conceptual thoughts, such as thinking that there is a truly existent entity in the ultimate truth, etc. The profundity of all dharmas is profundity itself, which is suchness. It is said: Emptiness is the profoundness of the Dharma, and other qualities are vast. Increasing here refers to the accumulation of certainty newly generated through valid cognition. One should not impute that the teachings spoken by the Tathagata, who has become the supreme valid authority, etc., and the path of accomplishment made through burning, etc., are impure, etc. What is called impurity itself, or purity itself, does not exist at all even in the mundane. This is merely a name spoken by Brahmins who have been deceived by the Vedas, and so do others who follow them. For the sake of trainees who are particularly faithful, the Bhagavan also taught in other ways and in some action tantras, but for those who are particularly faithful and have supreme wisdom in the practice of mantra, this is not abandonment. That is why it is said: Mantra-vidya. Impure obscurations are also not non-merit, because they are neither naturally forbidden nor prohibited. For the differences of trainees, although prohibited actions may become transgressions, this is not taught in the enjoyment of mantras. In the views of other schools, it is not always like this, because they proclaim that even the supreme swan sect and the blind sect can eat everything, drink everything, etc., and burn the flesh of cows, etc. What need is there to mention having such conceptual thoughts about the path spoken by the Tathagata? That is very foolish ignorance, the cause of attachment, etc., and also the cause of karma and birth. Therefore, that defilement should be eradicated from the root.
