If it is said that the very absence of inherent existence is non-elaboration, it is not so, because that itself is elaboration. If it is thought that the very nature of elaboration has become non-existent, then by what means is it established as non-elaboration? How then can elaboration be expressed? For when the very nature of something ceases to exist, it cannot be said to be its nature. Therefore, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, having meditated on elaboration, are to be regarded as supremely gathering the suchness of the mantras of the ultimate ones, which is non-elaboration. That is also said: That itself is mantra recitation, asceticism, That itself is burnt offering, mandala, In short, it is of the nature of mind aggregation. Like an illusion, it is not born and ceases as children imagine, but it appears to be born and so on due to the power of unreal causes and conditions. Like a dream, it is a true transformation from one's own mind alone, and does not depend on other causes. Thus it is said. Like the intermediate state of existence, the previous existence is past, and this, not having taken the existence of the next life, is the intermediate state of existence, devoid of karma and afflictions, the very nature of one's own awareness, which has become extremely clear, possessing the nature of being unimpeded, comprehending virtue and non-virtue, and being of the nature of manifestly turning towards a place without obscurations. In that way, one should definitely meditate on the wheel of the mandala. It is said that the nature of great bliss perfectly gathers the characteristics of all phenomena: Even black is bliss, and so on, when experiencing bliss accordingly, one does not perceive black and so on as separate, otherwise, that itself would become the characteristic of the meaning of black and so on. Therefore, that great bliss itself is the very nature of being undifferentiated from all three realms. So, what is that great bliss like? Born from intercourse, means the great bliss without outflows born from the union of skillful means and wisdom. Actual bliss means that the object is blissful by virtue of being self-aware. The bliss of non-objects means

Since grasping and so on are not established, it is the bliss of non-existence. It is called Vajrasattva Bliss. That is to say, Vajrasattva's is also the nature of bliss, and there is no other body of Vajrasattva that is different from bliss. It is called the Yoga of the Perfection Stage, which is without meditation, because it is the nature of complete wisdom. Therefore, it is said, "Perfection is without meditation." The meaning of this is that the nature of all inversions being completely separated, the nature of great bliss in which all dharmas are inseparable, is also perfected by the non-discriminating wisdom, the realm of dharma. Again, what is the need for the generation stage? The generation stage is the complete transformation of seeds and so on, and it is elaborated by the nature of being preliminary. From the conceptualizations of the practitioner, the object of meditation, and meditation and so on, the true suchness does not necessarily arise. Therefore, what is there to doubt about that? The meaning is that there is no need. The Blessed One said, "Emaho" and so on, "Emao" means wonderful. Why? Because it is said that the power of faith and so on, the power of faith is only faith. Destruction is far from the path of mantra, and compassion arises for those sentient beings, so it is said to be a great bodhisattva. Without a body and so on, if the form of the body arising from the elements is not understood, consciousness cannot be grasped, then where will the bliss of the nature of complete perfection of things exist? Therefore, it must be promised that great compassion, which is one with the nature of great bliss, will manifest in various forms until the end of samsara. It is also said: "The antidote for ordinary people, is completely regarded as the body of the Buddha, the image of the deity is practiced, thereby becoming vast and various forms, becoming the field of experience for those to be tamed. By the union of the perfection stage, the mind can also become a Buddha, all conceptualizations cease."

That is, just as heavy alchemical methods can accurately grasp mercury, you too, by truly meditating on the supreme blissful nature of the mind's jewel and the form of the deity, are not to be grasped. For this very reason, the analogy is explained, such as "like the fragrance that relies on a flower," etc., which is easy to understand. Likewise, when form and so on are extinguished, this is a combination close to the meaning. Relying on meditating on the form of the deity, one can focus on the nature of bliss; otherwise, it is not bliss, but rather they exist in mutual dependence. "Object" refers to the nature of forms such as hands and faces. "No object self" refers to all elaborations appearing as the nature of no object. "Buddha self" refers to becoming a Buddha because all things are realized by their very nature. "By what ignorance," etc., not honoring the teacher leads to foolishness, and holding onto inversions is ignorance. The accomplishment of merely experiencing one's own mind is the self, and they do not know it. With this, the analogy is explained, such as "likewise," etc. Faith is the cause of manifestation. "Son" refers to drawing near to Vajragarbha. Like a lamp in a dark room, just as the form of a burning lamp can dispel all the nature of darkness and illuminate all tangible objects existing in that place, similarly, with prayers purified by mantras and so on as a prelude, in the manner of the nature of the mind's jewel becoming clear, destroying all the darkness of conceptual thought, and thus constantly, spontaneously engaging in the activities of benefiting others and perfecting the benefit of all beings, therefore abiding at the end of samsara. Or, just as a lamp can take away the darkness accumulated from many eons, leaving it nowhere to go and nowhere to stay, so too, it is naturally pacified. Son of the lineage, likewise, the habitual tendencies of ignorance accumulated from beginningless time are also such that merely generating the light of wisdom leaves them nowhere to go and nowhere to stay.
