It means manifold. Therefore, the Tathagata teaches all the tantras, not only by the language of the gods born from the effort of the throat and palate, such as "E-VAM-MA-YA-SHRUTA." Here, at first, the Dharma is taught in the manner of the Hearers, such as the Three Baskets, in the Magadhi language. Thus, the Tathagata teaches the Three Vehicles in the languages of many lands, not only in the perfect Sanskrit language such as "E-VAM-MA-YA-SHRUTA." Here, if the words of perfect Sanskrit such as "E-VAM-MA-YA-SHRUTA" are limited things born from the effort of the throat and palate, then the Tathagata's teaching of the Dharma is limited. At that time, the Tathagata would not be able to teach the eighty-four thousand aggregates of Dharma at many times, nor could the compilers write them down, because they are limited words. Here, because the emanated bodies are limitless, in the limitless realms of the world, limitless beings cannot be taught the Dharma simultaneously with limitless sounds, and because there is no teaching of the eighty-four thousand aggregates of Dharma, one would become not omniscient, but that is not the case. Here, the Buddhas are immeasurable, the Dharma is immeasurable, and the Sangha is immeasurable. Therefore, the Tathagata's speech does not mean that there is only one teacher who is omniscient, nor is it the language of the omniscient that can make all beings understand the meaning in all their languages in an instant. Nor is there only one definite place of residence. The Tathagata's Hearer Sangha and petitioners are not unique. One should rely on what the Blessed One said in the Glorious First Buddha: To animals, yakshas, asuras, rakshasas, asuras, noble ones, Tibetans, etc., the Dharma that is always true is taught in the three forms of past, future, and present, and with their own different languages, the immeasurable beings of the three existences are placed on the right path. This is the speech of the omniscient, which bestows the fruit of equal bliss, not the language of the gods. Again, it is said in that:

The objects such as peace and desire, born from one's own heart in previous lives, abide in samsara and nirvana by the power of habituation, and one sees one as many by the power of aspiration and merit. One meaning, many languages, each object deeply enters the hearts of beings. For the sake of the merit of the virtuous, they abide in samsara and nirvana, and travel equally. As it is also said: Just as cool, sweet, fine, soft, and light water comes from the clouds, it transforms into many flavors due to the differences in foundation, cause, and place. Likewise, from the essence of the vast cloud of compassion, the eightfold noble path arises, and it transforms into many flavors for beings due to the differences in origin and place. Therefore, for the benefit of sentient beings, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas entering the womb, etc., and even going to hell, cannot be fathomed by ordinary people. As the great tantra of glorious Arali says: Those Bodhisattvas attain the supreme of the two-legged, and display the dance of the Buddha. And as the Glorious True Praise of Names says: Thereafter, the Bhagavan Shakyamuni, the perfectly enlightened supreme of the two-legged. Therefore, in one place he shows perfect enlightenment, in one place he shows asceticism, in one place he shows the incarnation of descending from the gods, and thus he shows renunciation from the palace, and turns the wheel of Dharma. In one place he shows ordination, thus he shows taming, the inconceivable excellent Dharma. In one place he shows the aspect of holding mantras, in one place he shows the aspect of paramitas, in one place he shows the path of the Vaibhashikas, in one place he shows the Sutras, in one place he shows the Mind-Only, in one place he shows the Madhyamaka. In one place he shows going to hell, in one place he shows protecting beings, having tamed beings as the cause, he dances with the mind of compassion. Thus it is said. And as the Glorious True Praise of Names says: Non-returner, never to return, guide, solitary conqueror, the way of the rhinoceros, various renunciations are renunciation, the great elements, all phenomena, one cause. Bhikshu Arhat, defilements exhausted, free from desire, subduing the senses. And so on. As the Bhagavan said
