It is like what has been taught and heard. If so, then how is this the very knowing? It is said, "My merit," and so on, with the distinction of meditation itself as the object. Therefore, meditation is not meaningless, because without perfecting meditation, it cannot be directly realized. That is also as it is said: "O, you who dispel the drum of existence! Now you have shown the path. You yourself are the actor, the Tathagata is only the teacher." It is said. If it is said that meditating on the wheel of the mandala and so on, this is of the lineage, and the co-emergent joy is the directly perceived close object, therefore it is not appropriate to show the meaning of becoming directly perceived to others. Therefore, it is said, "From merit." Thinking thus: The co-emergent joy of worldly people is not to be cultivated, because it is already accomplished, and because it is tainted with outflows, and because samsaric beings are rooted in it. Then what is it like? The Tathagata himself should individually and correctly know. The co-emergent called Dharmakaya is to be cultivated here. Since there is no other method, here, with the worldly co-emergent joy as a key instruction, one should cultivate with greater devotion, and through the power of complete maturation from meditation, one will know oneself, not from before. Therefore, hearing, thinking, and meditating will not become meaningless. The method is the path. Relying on it is truly meditating. Its time is much, it is the meaning of being called manifold. The time obtained from the lama is the time of the lama, that is, the lama gives it to the disciple who has become a vessel according to the ritual, which is the meaning of being called a key instruction. If so, how should the co-emergent be meditated upon? Is it on one object, or is it manifested as pervading many? It is said, "Inferior," and so on, this is a summary. The explanation of this is "Subtle meaning," and so on, the subtle meaning is one's own mind and mental factors. Things

English
The term "ra" refers to one's own body. The term "two" refers to one's own body and limbs. The six faculties refer to the eyes and so on, which reside in the body. The terms "dependent and moving" refer to external beings with and without mind. The term "I am" refers not only to oneself, but also to Vajradhara, the nature of great bliss. The term "equality and sameness" refers to the nature of non-duality. What is that like? It is said, "Through meditating on that." The explanation here is "equal in taste." Again, the explanation here is "equality" and so on. Equality means becoming the same. The term "that" refers to inferior and middling things, and so on. The term "taste" refers to essence, a synonym for things. What is taste? It refers to the nature of great bliss on the wheel, the meaning of co-emergence. In order to show the concise meaning, "Meditate on the equality of one taste." Thus it is said. Again, how should one meditate on the equality of one taste? It is said, "From me" and so on. Thus, after the yogi knows, it means after thus firmly grasping. The term "extremely equanimous" refers to all states. In order to clarify that, it is said, "Eating and drinking" and so on. The term "nature" refers to entering naturally of one's own accord. The term "Mahamudra" and so on, Is for the sake of accomplishing Mahamudra. This shows the yoga of special devotion. Now, in order to show the mind on this, "All beings will meditate." It is said, "All beings" and so on. The term "all beings" refers to sentient beings and the container world. All of these arise from meditation. Because of what? It is said, "With the mind," Refers to the consciousness of discrimination. If one cannot examine, then one cannot meditate? It is said, "All dharmas" and so on. Fully knowing the nature of co-emergence is the meaning of what should be meditated upon. The term "stable and moving" and so on, All of that is the sacred thatness itself, the very suchness.

One should meditate on the form of (the deity). Furthermore, what is its ultimate reality? It is said, "My things," etc. "My" refers to the nature of one's own mind, which is co-emergent. "Are these the ultimate reality?" refers to the suchness of the nature of a single birth. Furthermore, are these not one? It is said, "Self-awareness." If the reality of all phenomena is the true limit, is there no other reality besides that? It is said, "From self-awareness," etc. Only the mind of great bliss nature can become the accomplishment of Mahamudra. "Because of self-awareness" means that only the mind of great bliss nature should be cultivated in the aspect of the completion stage. What is called "self-realization" is that which arises from the ripening of the karma of beings, such as the various aspects of stability and movement, that is karma. If it arises from self-awareness in this way, how can Mahamudra be accomplished? Therefore, it is said, "From conceptual thought," conceptual thought is the establishment of the nature of the grasped and the grasper. It arises from that, but not from cultivating the co-emergent of various natures. Therefore, because all actions are of the nature of co-emergence, it is said, "One's self steals and one's self does." Because there is no other agent besides that. What is called "one's self steals" refers to actions that are well-used and misused. What is called "one's self is king" means that one's self is the king. Because it has the power to exhaust all defilements, it is called "one's self is the lord." Desire, etc., refers to desire, etc. What is called "the abode of all of them" refers to the position of self-awareness that should be cultivated. What is called "all sixteen" means that it cannot be made to decline. Now, in order to show the nature of self-awareness, it is said, "Born from Dharma," etc. Dharma refers to the noble Dharma. Because these arise from this, it is called "Dharma-born."
