Pure like Kasi and others. 'Without aversion' means that compassion and other purities, such as the eyes, are their very nature. 'Without desire' means Amitabha and other six Chakravartins. 'Without meditation' means without a path. A meditator is a person who meditates, and the mind, etc. Fame is what gives rise to the qualities of the Buddha. 'Enemy' means the afflictions to be destroyed; all of these are without object. 'Why?' means without conceptualization. By the very nature of supreme joy born together, these are without conceptualization. Conceptualization is specific conceptualization, and its pacification is the supreme oneness of great bliss. From then on, one marvels at the variety of differences. Is it something never seen before? Or is variety due to being separated from the nature of variety? Now, it is said to closely represent what is born together. To show that what is born together cannot be grasped, and to determine the distinction, the question is asked: 'Thus, I pray,' which means that it cannot be grasped, and what is born together is not something to be grasped. This question refers to the nature of being separate from all the wisdom of great bliss born together, and Vajragarbha asks again. Why does the nature of arising become wisdom born together? What is born together itself is what expresses that meaning. 'Body' refers to the body of Hevajra and others born together, the essence of which is pure. When asked from where it is pure, it is said: 'From the beginning, unborn is without nature.' Now, it is said how the nature of arising temporarily arises: 'By the union of vajra and lotus.' And, 'Therefore, it is not that bliss.' It means that the bliss that has become like that is not that Suchness. However, it was said earlier that it closely represents that Suchness. At that time, what is that Suchness like? What is born together from skillful means and wisdom is that what is born is what is born together from the ultimate, which is that Suchness. When asked from where, 'nature born together' means that nature is one's own way, things.

are co-emergent. How can it be appropriate that the nature of the great elements, which never depends on external objects and so on, is co-emergent? Therefore, to gather all things into one is to gather things into one and without duality, it is the gatherer, that is, to gather into one or supreme bliss. Therefore, yoga wisdom becomes the means. Because the seal is separated from the union of that and its cause, all dharmas are unborn. All dharmas are unborn and without object, therefore the seal is not other than one's own wisdom. That is what was said, emptiness and compassion are inseparable, it is called bodhicitta. This means that such a co-emergent, knowing from skillful means and wisdom, that great bliss is the ultimate bodhicitta itself. By meditating on such a bodhicitta, there is no need to recite mantras, no need for asceticism, and so on. That very bodhicitta is mantra recitation, it is the nature of knowing and protecting. That is the discipline, it is the very nature of being free from all faults. That is the fire offering, because it destroys all the burning substances of afflictions and aggregates. That is the mandala, it is the nature of the gathering of Vajrayogini. That is the mandala, it is the very taking of the essence of all dharmas. Therefore, in short, it is in brief. What is the use of saying much? The aspect of mind gathering, mind is bodhicitta. The aspect of gathering is the aspect of gathering all dharmas, meaning the nature of all dharmas. Therefore, that should be generated, generating that means that everything will be accomplished. Thus ends the tenth chapter, the chapter on empowerment. The yogis who have attained the rank of teacher through empowerment and so on, in order to teach the Dharma, have explained the cause of leading sentient beings. In terms of being equally wrathful, equal means looking and thinking downwards and sideways, wrathful means being with wrath, forehead means relying slightly on the forehead, falling.
