Tenth, Explanation of the Chapter on Empowerment. Tenth, Explanation of the Chapter on Empowerment. Thus, meditating on suchness, one is not eligible without empowerment. Empowerment is also not without a mandala, so the mandala is spoken for the sake of empowering disciples as a means of clarifying suchness. Hereafter, it should be truly explained. "How in order" means what is the order of drawing the mandala. "By what ritual" means by empowering the disciple, which should also be well explained. "The yogi should purify the ground," etc., means that in places such as gardens, one should first practice recitation with mantras in order to gather disciples, or in order to establish it well, wanting to make a mandala, so one worships the earth goddess with flowers, etc. The mantra "Om bhūḥ khaṃ" means holding a vase and the color is yellow. Having first done the summoning, one should contemplate knowing it in the sky. Having blessed it well with "Om tiṣṭha vajra hūṃ," one should dig only up to the knees. Then one should remove the ashes, charcoal, chaff, stones, bones, gravel, etc., that have come out. Sprinkling that earth or other fragrant water, one should fill the dug hole with earth. Reciting "hūṃ," sprinkling fragrant water, kneading and making it even. In that place, inviting the earth goddess, "Om medinī vajri bhava vajra vanaṭa hūṃ," one should invite her to enter and contemplate blessing her. These faults, all of them, must certainly. If one is unable to remove them, placing the hand and reciting the mantra, that itself is very famous as pure. On the roof, on the stone, and in the cattle pen, temples, by the water, royal places, etc., digging does not purify. Also in a place that has been purified beforehand. Thus, one should purify the ground. Thereafter, the ritual of drawing the mandala will be explained. "Diligently, from hūṃ, make a vajra." This means that from the complete transformation of raṃ, from the nature of the earth of various vajras arising from the hūṃ located on the sun, one should purify the ground after contemplating, that is the meaning. The place for drawing the mandala is spoken of, namely gardens, etc. The explanation of "good" is spoken of, namely with powders of the five precious things, etc.

The measurement of the mandala is said to be fixed, called a three-cubit mandala. The meaning of this is to rely on Vajrasattva, extend the right foot, and join the two hands in the Heruka mudra. The teacher enters the mandala. Recite "Hum Hum," and make the sound "He He," which is terrifying. The mantra holder holds the vajra bell, and is supplicated by Gauri and others. The Tathagata is all peaceful, the abode of all the Tathagatas, Vajrasattva truly arises, please explain the main mandala. All names are completely fulfilled, all non-names are stopped, Samantabhadra truly arises, please explain the lord of the mandala. The peaceful Dharma arises from the supreme place, wisdom practice purifies everything, Vajra Ratna truly arises, please explain the lord of the mandala. The great mind of all sentient beings, its nature is pure and without defilement, Vairochana greatly manifests, please explain the lord of the mandala. Thus, establish the mudra in place, after fully viewing from all aspects, the lord who speaks the syllable "Hum," the feet perform the vajra dance, completely surrounded with devotion. After looking with the vajra eye, the vajra burning under the feet, contemplate the emanation from Hum The wise one makes the sound of the vajra, and strives to ring the bell. By this, the ground is purified, and the protection also becomes great. By this recitation, all obstacles, even the great ones, can be dispelled. Great obstacles, let them depart, whatever bodies and so on, arise from the great bliss wisdom, the nature of Vajrasattva arises. I am the power of glorious compassion, well making the wheel of protection, possessing the body of burning vajra, arising from the three kayas and stopping. If there is any transgression, it will become terrifying, it will not be otherwise. After fully holding the ground, for the sake of no obstacles, peg it with the stake. Om Vajra Kili Kilaya Bandha Hum Phat (藏文:ཨོཾ་བཛྲ་ཀཱི་ལི་ཀཱི་ལ་ཡ་བ་ནྡྷ་ཧཱུཾ་ཕཊ,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ vajra kīlī kīlāya bandha hūṃ phaṭ,汉语字面意思:嗡,金刚,橛,橛,束缚,吽,啪). After binding the boundaries and fences, and binding the directions, make the ground a prepared place. The yellow one arising from Vaṃ (藏文:བཾ,梵文天城体:वं,梵文罗马拟音:vaṃ,汉语字面意思:വം), holds the golden vase. Make offerings with the five offerings, and make supplications with the Akshobhya mudra. Kye
