Therefore, recitation increases the deity. Wearing a diadem on the head will please the deity and bestow supreme accomplishments. Thus, reciting six hundred thousand times is what was previously taught as the approach. In all the root tantras, the Sugatas have spoken for the sake of fulfilling desires. Like the syllable "PHAṬ (藏文,梵文天城体:फट्,梵文罗马拟音:phaṭ,汉语字面意思:呸)", as well as "HŪṂ (藏文,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽)", "VAUṢAṬ (藏文,梵文天城体:वौषट्,梵文罗马拟音:vauṣaṭ,汉语字面意思:哇色吒)", "NAMAḤ (藏文,梵文天城体:नमः,梵文罗马拟音:namaḥ,汉语字面意思:敬礼)", "SVĀHĀ (藏文,梵文天城体:स्वाहा,梵文罗马拟音:svāhā,汉语字面意思:梭哈)", "VAṢAṬ (藏文,梵文天城体:वषट्,梵文罗马拟音:vaṣaṭ,汉语字面意思:瓦色吒)", the practitioner should, in the six activities, according to their number, add the vows at the end of the mantra. First, give offerings to Vairochana, and then begin the recitation again. Then, the recitation should be divided, and burnt offerings should be made in tenths. Everything should be done according to the rituals spoken in the tantra. Then the deity will be accomplished, and the accomplished one will bestow upon the mantra practitioner whatever supreme accomplishment he seeks. If the lineage is different, the actions are different, the time is different, as well as the type of mantra, the place, direction, and basis are different, then all actions will be fruitless. Mantras recited from books, and those who have abandoned the oral instructions, the fire of their practice only increases the afflictions of the world. If one finds (a mantra) in a book, then what is the use of properly receiving it? One should clearly explain the meaning by reading what is written with an upright intention. Those who have abandoned the sacred essence of the mantra, and only recite mantras from books, those who practice deities and so on, are like wanting to devour the sky. Or, with the diligence of stabilizing one's mind, or, those who practice by reciting mantras, those who strive to benefit others, their desires will accomplish worldly siddhis. Recitation of mantras, as well as burnt offerings, and the order of rituals for the place and offerings, if the actions are deficient, then it will not be accomplished, this word is true. The teacher, the Bodhisattva, and what the gods have taught, therefore, everything should be done with effort, and the wise should grasp its essence. Thus, and so on, in the root tantra, it is taught that mantras are accomplished by other means, for the purpose of accomplishing activities such as stiffening. In this short tantra, the meaning is understood by other intentional words, and that alone should be spoken. Oṃ Hūṃ Svāhā, is the act of stiffening. The syllable Hūṃ is to accomplish the vajra ground, and by this to accomplish stiffening. Oṃ Āṃ Svāhā, is the act of subjugation. The syllable Āṃ is to accomplish the fire element, and by this to accomplish subjugation. Oṃ Khaṃ Svāhā, is

To expel, the so-called "Kha (Tibetan: ཁཾ) syllable," with it one accomplishes the realm of wind, and by it one expels. Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम्, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: om, literal Chinese meaning: Om) Jrīṃ (Tibetan: ཛྲཱྀཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ज्रृं, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: jrīṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Jrīṃ) Svāhā (Tibetan: སྭཱ་ཧཱ, Sanskrit Devanagari: स्वाहा, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: svāhā, literal Chinese meaning: Svāhā), to hate, the so-called "Jrīṃ (Tibetan: ཛྲཱྀཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ज्रृं, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: jrīṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Jrīṃ)" syllable, with it one accomplishes the realms of fire and wind mixed, and by them one hates. Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम्, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: om, literal Chinese meaning: Om) Bhrūṃ (Tibetan: བྷྲཱུཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: भ्रूं, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: bhrūṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Bhrūṃ) Svāhā (Tibetan: སྭཱ་ཧཱ, Sanskrit Devanagari: स्वाहा, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: svāhā, literal Chinese meaning: Svāhā), to manifest, the so-called "Bhrūṃ (Tibetan: བྷྲཱུཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: भ्रूं, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: bhrūṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Bhrūṃ)" syllable, with it one accomplishes fire and water, and by them one manifests. Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम्, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: om, literal Chinese meaning: Om) Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: hūṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ) Svāhā (Tibetan: སྭཱ་ཧཱ, Sanskrit Devanagari: स्वाहा, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: svāhā, literal Chinese meaning: Svāhā), to summon, the so-called "Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: hūṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ)" syllable, with it one accomplishes the realms of wind, fire, and space, and by them one summons. Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओम्, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: om, literal Chinese meaning: Om) Ghuḥ (Tibetan: གྷུཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: घुः, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: ghuḥ, literal Chinese meaning: Ghuḥ) Svāhā (Tibetan: སྭཱ་ཧཱ, Sanskrit Devanagari: स्वाहा, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: svāhā, literal Chinese meaning: Svāhā), to kill, the so-called "Ghuḥ (Tibetan: གྷུཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: घुः, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: ghuḥ, literal Chinese meaning: Ghuḥ)" syllable, with it one accomplishes wind and water, and by them one kills. This is explained according to the intention. What is the direct perception of the senses? What is examined by the mind is direct perception. The wisdom of the generation stage, Is not the direct perception of becoming a Buddha. What is the direct perception of a yogi? What is self-awareness? The wisdom of the completion stage, Is the best of the activities of becoming a Buddha. That itself is five different aspects, Initially, in the middle, and at the end, By the protectors who gather the Dharma, The five eyes are spoken of. The flesh eye and then the divine eye, Then it transforms into the Buddha eye, The wisdom eye and then again, The wisdom eye is the fifth. For the yogi of the first action, Initially, it transforms into the flesh eye, Then by that, the divine eye, As is the divine eye, so it sees. Then it transforms into the Buddha eye, As is the Hearer, so it sees. Then how is the wisdom eye? As is the Bodhisattva, so it sees. Then the wisdom of the self-nature eye, As are the Sugatas, so it sees. The eye of four kinds of wisdom, Whoever has it, that is it. By the distinction of wisdom and consciousness, The nature of the two is well shown, The protectors have the wisdom eye, Then it is spoken of as the wisdom eye. Buddha has no beginning and no end, The first Buddha is without two thoughts, The one wisdom eye is without impurity, The wisdom body is the Thus Gone One. Thus, by the conventional truth of the world, in the manner of dependent arising, this is obtained and this arises, just as the mixture of lime and stone powder produces redness, one should understand that in accomplishing all actions. The Buddhas of the yogis
