You were not daunted by evil ways, Nor did you accomplish the desired journeys. With pure intention alone, You have become accustomed to discipline. Because external conditions were not complete, And there was no abundance of self-effort, Even with pure intention, It does not transform into the other shore of discipline. Always abandoning hypocrisy, Always relying on the upright and steadfast, With completely pure actions, You have become the sole foundation. The cause of the perfection of patience, Although worthy of offering due to the power of compassion, Yet fearing future suffering, Others blame themselves. Those tormented by much suffering, You, with a joyful heart, Endured with afflictions as targets, Cherishing afflicted beings. Even for those who are tormented, Not thinking of their faults, Because you desire the perfection of patience. Seeing what has been done as the ultimate, You, for the sake of others, Joyfully gave up your life. Such a thing surpasses the death of living beings, And has not happened even to those who revive. Those who rejoice in beneficial offerings, Do not value the rare mind. Whatever pleases you, protector, I consider it rare. You, not just once, Though cut, do not think of suffering, Yet to the sentient beings who act as executioners, Lord, you became compassionate. Even the executioner, After cutting with his sword, Seeing you seeking enlightenment, Remained in loving-kindness. Your heart is a jewel, The seed of perfect enlightenment. Only you, the brave one, know its essence, Others cannot easily understand it. Thus becoming self-natured, Yet sentient beings are always suffering. How, in all the Buddha's teachings, To individually examine and strive. Without undertaking asceticism, It is difficult to obtain the hard-to-find state. Therefore, not even looking at yourself, You have well increased diligence. After obtaining special qualities, And completely abandoning faults, Even though carrying the burden for sentient beings, Yet the mind has never forgotten. In doing excellent things, You have never been even slightly lazy. Therefore, your special qualities, From beginning to end, are clearly distinguished in order. Thought

Then, why doesn't the Transcendent One follow purity? Those who dispel views and pride with wisdom, Your heart and great compassion, in order to be constantly connected, Even to the extremely blissful state with the fruits of meditation, you are not attached. Some non-Buddhists think that enjoyment is the ultimate good, but you never stop others from enjoying. Even if there is that extraordinary bliss that is not shared with others, for someone like you who has holy conduct, there is no medicine more harmful than harm. Your wisdom is unparalleled, even for the many animals, in order to obtain completely pure wisdom, why not follow? For mixed speech, the true good saying is a short, stainless essence. You keep all acceptance in mind, and completely abandon wrong speech like poison. In order to increase wisdom, even a great good saying, even half a verse, why not follow? Only you alone realized all-knowingness, you know the essence of jewels, when you cherish good sayings with your life, in life after life, you showed courage for the sake of enlightenment. Sentient beings who are superior in diligence, even if there are countless, those cripples without action, cannot achieve it through birth. Therefore, in countless three great asamkhyeyas, you are so diligent, because only diligence accompanies you, you have attained the unsurpassed state. Praising the Buddha Bhagavan, generating courage from faith, called praising from the aspect of cause, this is the second chapter. Chapter Three: Praising the Incomparable Om! Slightly pay attention to all qualities, even when praying, you do not sleep, Firmly accept what is close, and delight in the special. Not jealous of the high, nor stingy with generous gifts to the humble, Because there is no competition with equals, you have become the master of the world. Listening to the teachings and practicing, never懈怠, Will not stay for a long time, Even with attachment, it is mostly smaller than the fruit. You are happy with the causes of merit, not with the fruits. Only through true practice, you have reached the other shore of merit. Shakyamuni
