Furthermore, the three natures are elaborately explained in detail in the 'Five Hundred Prajñāpāramitā,' the eighty-three chapters of the 'Eight Thousand Prajñāpāramitā,' and the seventy-two chapters of the 'Twenty-Five Thousand Prajñāpāramitā.' Therefore, it would be too extreme to consider these as solely Mind-Only treatises, as they are self-commentaries on the Madhyamaka of Prajñāpāramitā. Thus, your refutation is valid, and the same applies to the highest tantras. Moreover, it is necessary to understand the distinction between the two truths in Mind-Only, as it is said: 'Understanding the distinction between the two truths prevents confusion regarding the Buddha's teachings.' The conventional truth in Mind-Only is the compounded (འདུས་བྱས) Mind-Only, which aligns with common understanding. The ultimate truth in Mind-Only is the uncompounded (འདུས་མ་བྱས) Mind-Only of suchness, which is well explained in profound sutras and tantras such as the 'Laṅkāvatāra Sūtra' and the 'Kālacakra Tantra.' Some of these are also included in the 'Ocean of Definitive Meaning.' Furthermore, it is a great error for the unwise to believe that all twenty emptinesses are merely emptiness of self-nature, because for all statements on emptiness, one must clearly understand what is being emptied and what is the basis of emptiness. As Maitreya said: 'Two non-existences and the non-existence of things are the characteristics of emptiness.' And: 'The non-existence of persons and phenomena here is emptiness. That existence of non-existence is other than that emptiness.' These distinctions are clearly elaborated in the 'Ocean of Definitive Meaning,' which extensively establishes the difference between emptiness of self-nature and emptiness of other-nature. Furthermore, regarding whether appearance and emptiness are the same or different, it is necessary to understand the distinction between the two truths. The union of appearance and emptiness that is the ultimate truth is one in ultimate truth, and the union of appearance and emptiness that is the conventional truth is one in conventional truth. To understand this, one must also extensively understand the differences between the two ways of truth, the two ways of emptiness, the two ways of appearance, and so on, which are extensively established in the 'Ocean of Definitive Meaning.' To put it briefly here, there can be no division of truth for what is untrue, and if truth is divided, there are only two: conventional truth and ultimate truth, because it does not go beyond non-deception in conventional truth and non-deception in ultimate truth. If emptiness is divided, there are two: emptiness of self-nature and emptiness of other-nature, that is, emptiness of one's own essence, and although one's own is not empty, but --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Emptiness means that all other things are empty. From the perspective of appearance, what appears to consciousness is like dreams, illusions, etc.; what appears to wisdom is like the Eight Manifestations, etc. If someone engages in slander, there are two ways: slandering the conventional truth and slandering the ultimate truth. The first is to believe that cause and effect, etc., do not exist even conventionally. The second is to say that the ultimate truth is also empty of the ultimate truth, the dharmadhatu is also empty of the dharmadhatu, the dharmakaya is also empty of the dharmakaya, etc. These are all widely proclaimed about the three-sentence meaning of the Dharma and the individual. Furthermore, Madhyamaka has aspects of appearance and non-appearance. Regarding the meaning of appearance, it is necessary to analyze whether it is conventional truth with appearance or ultimate truth with appearance. Regarding non-appearance, it is also necessary to analyze whether it is conventional truth without appearance or ultimate truth without appearance. Among them, conventional truth without appearance and ultimate truth with appearance are the definitive meaning, and the opposite is not the definitive meaning. As the noble Vimalamitra said: 'When it appears, the nature of reality does not appear; when it does not appear, the nature of reality appears.' Therefore, appearance does not necessarily mean it is conventional truth, and emptiness does not necessarily mean it is ultimate truth. For example, the appearance of the dharmadhatu, such as the Eight Manifestations, is the ultimate truth. Any self-emptiness of the conventional truth cannot be the ultimate truth, and any ultimate truth cannot be self-empty. Furthermore, in the wisdom of the Buddha, there are the 'Four Wisdoms Arising from Others' as the path truth, and the 'Five Self-Arising Wisdoms' or 'Ten Self-Arising Wisdoms' as the cessation truth, because there are four wisdoms of the non-inverted perfected nature and five or ten wisdoms of the unchanging perfected nature. Among them, the Four Wisdoms Arising from Others belong to the category of conditioned, momentary, and conventional truth, and there is no true wisdom among the five dharmas. The Five or Ten Self-Arising Wisdoms belong to the unconditioned, beyond-momentary, ultimate truth, and are Suchness among the five dharmas. If someone says that if it is unconditioned, it cannot be wisdom, it is because they have not entered the vast realm of the profound and supreme Dharma of the Golden Age, nor have they turned their minds towards it. In the presence of the Bhagavan Avalokiteshvara, it was said: 'The wisdom that is separated from one moment and many moments is called Suchness by the Buddhas.' This was very clearly explained, and Suchness was distinguished by joy and the difference of bodies. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
