From the six thousand two hundred and forty hours of the twenty-seven constellations to the six thousand two hundred and forty Ālayavijñānas (kun gzhi ye shes) and so on. For these, there are also millions of great lineages. For hundreds of thousands of lineages, the number becomes uncountable. Among these countless lineages, those that arise from the lineage of supreme joy. Just as the Great Vajradhara (rdo rje 'chang) has said, the classification and summary of Ālayavijñāna are also similar, differing only in letters, but the meaning is exactly the same. Similarly, for the classification and summary of the Great Madhyamaka (dbu ma chen po), there are the two Great Madhyamakas of skillful means and wisdom, and the three Great Madhyamakas of the three vajras, and so on. Until the end of the phrase 'those that arise from the lineage of supreme joy,' they are combined and recited separately as before. Similarly, the classification and summary of Immutable Perfection ('gyur med yongs grub) is the same as this, with the two Immutable Perfections of skillful means and wisdom, and the three Immutable Perfections of the three vajras, and so on. Until the end of the phrase 'those that arise from the lineage of supreme joy,' they are combined and recited separately as before. Similarly, the classification and summary of Profound Prajñā (sher phyin zab mo) is the same as this, with the two Profound Prajñās of skillful means and wisdom, and the three Profound Prajñās of the three vajras, and so on. Until the end of the phrase 'those that arise from the lineage of supreme joy,' they are combined and recited separately as before. Similarly, the classification and summary of Mahāmudrā (phyag rgya chen po) is the same as this, with the two Mahāmudrās of skillful means and wisdom, and the three Mahāmudrās of the three vajras, and so on. Until the end of the phrase 'those that arise from the lineage of supreme joy,' they are combined and recited separately as before. Similarly, the classification and summary of Utmost Yoga (shin tu rnal 'byor) is the same as this, with the two Utmost Yogas of skillful means and wisdom, and the three Utmost Yogas of the three vajras, and the four Utmost Yogas of the four vajras, and so on. Until the end of the phrase 'those that arise from the lineage of supreme joy,' they are combined and recited separately as before. Why is this? Because of the Svabhāva lineage with many classifications and summaries, and the Ālayavijñāna with many classifications and summaries, and the Great Madhyamaka with many classifications and summaries, and the Immutable Perfection with many classifications and summaries. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Because Śamvara (Śamvara, शम्बर, śambara, Bliss) with many classifications is profound, and Mahāmudrā (Mahāmudrā, महामुद्रा, mahāmudrā, Great Seal) with many classifications, and Atiyoga with many classifications, they are many but one taste. Because many names but one meaning, many forms but one essence. Similarly, Buddha-samayoga with many qualities, Sahaja-samayoga with many qualities, Mahāparinirvāṇa with many qualities, Svabhāva-prabhāsvara with many qualities, Nirodha-satya with many qualities, Dvādaśa-pariniṣpatti with many qualities, and all uncreated deities, mantras, tantras, mandalas, and mudras such as Kālacakra, Hevajra, Guhyasamāja, etc., are also many but one taste. Because they dwell in many classifications, therefore, as mentioned before, combine and recite and translate them separately. From the form that is naturally virtuous, faultless, without outflows, without afflictions, purified, transcendental, and uncreated, to the eighteen unmixed dharmas of the Buddha, and from the form that is pure, completely pure, supremely pure, and naturally luminous, to omniscient wisdom, and from the form that is immutable and without rebirth, etc., and the form that transcends the three realms and three times, etc., and the form that is immutable and without discrimination, etc., and from the form of dharmatā to all the dharmas of the Buddha, they are also many but one taste and have many classifications, therefore, as mentioned before, combine and recite and translate them separately. Hey Vajra! The mind is one great, manifested in five forms. From those five families, thousands are born. Therefore, these are one in nature, beneficial to supreme great bliss.’ So it was also said. In 'Stainless Light' it is also said: 'That which is established as the lineage of one family is differentiated by the divisions of three families, five families, thousands, hundreds of thousands, and millions, which are countless in the tantras such as the Samaya Tantra and the Hevajra Tantra, according to the thoughts of limitless beings.’ This is the definition of the tantra. So it was said. Therefore, for the profound and ultimate Dharma of true meaning, the light of wisdom should also be greatly increased, which is the essence of the teachings. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
