Please review if these statements are correct. Therefore, one should carefully examine the flaws and merits, respect the merits and eliminate the flaws. Foolish faith is the root of extreme error. As it is said in the 'Stainless Light': 'The wise respect merits, not Buddhas, Ishvara (自在天), etc. Respect for those without merits arises from foolish non-virtuous deeds.' Therefore, even if there was a previous connection or not, one should examine the lama well and not have excessive faith. As the Venerable Avalokiteshvara (观自在) said: 'Even for the sake of the Buddha himself, one should thoroughly examine the lama and not rely on him blindly, otherwise one will be overwhelmed by great ignorance.' Likewise, if the words of a wicked teacher are taken as standard, one will engage in the paths of the ten non-virtuous actions. Those who claim that impure things such as feces and urine, as well as the alaya-vijñana (阿赖耶识) and afflictions and non-virtuous things, are also naturally completely pure, are condemned by Ishvara (自在天). Those who claim that impure things such as feces and urine, as well as the alaya-vijñana (阿赖耶识) and afflictions and non-virtuous things, are also naturally completely pure, are condemned by Ishvara (自在天), as follows: 'If those who are wicked, deceive others, slander the teachings of the all-knowing, break great vows, fall into the Avici hell (无间地狱), and have impure minds, if their minds are pure, then why do they not do the actions of yogis?' Regarding the conduct and destination of those who hate the Tathagatagarbha (如来藏) and criticize the noble beings and the Dharma, the Bhagavan Ishvara (自在天) prophesied as follows: 'The wicked teacher, being outside the Tathagatagarbha (如来藏), attached to enjoying objects with the senses, speaking falsely, and seizing upon unseen faults, will fall into Avici (无间地狱).' Regarding the lamas such as panditas who explain the ultimate intention of the intermediate teachings as merely negation without establishing anything, the Bhagavan Ishvara (自在天) prophesied as follows: 'The wicked lamas who are separated from the oral instructions of the holy lama and fall into great transgression will completely destroy the profound and vast Dharma for those with childish minds.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To those who do not fabricate, the Prajnaparamita (shes rab kyi pha rol tu phyin pa, Perfection of Wisdom) will be taught.' And so on. Therefore, some who are not skilled, without thought, yet consider themselves wise, and fall into great attachment, will speak thus. Therefore, the reality that is liberated from the two extremes of permanence and annihilation is the ultimate wisdom (don dam pa'i ye shes), the nature of reality (chos nyid), the suchness (de bzhin nyid). The wisdom body (ye shes kyi sku) of Vajradhara (rdo rje 'dzin pa) is revealed by accurately proclaiming the names. If this is not understood, the ultimate definitive meaning of all vehicles and the mantra vehicle will not be understood. As it is said in the presence of the Bhagavan Lokeshvara ('jig rten dbang phyug): 'Whoever does not know the first Buddha (sangs rgyas), does not know the accurate proclamation of names. Whoever does not know the accurate proclamation of names, does not know the wisdom body of Vajradhara. Whoever does not know the wisdom body of Vajradhara, does not know the mantra vehicle. Whoever does not know the mantra vehicle, all of them are samsaric beings, separated from the path of the Bhagavan Vajradhara.' Therefore, if the meaning of the accurate proclamation of names, which is the wisdom body of Vajradhara, is not understood, the essence of the definitive meaning of all vehicles will not be understood. If this is not understood, both the teacher and the student will degenerate on the path to enlightenment. Even if they boast of being wise, it will be so. And they will not understand the explanation that mixes Sutra and Tantra. In the presence of the Bhagavan Lokeshvara: 'Among these aspects of the Shravaka (nyan thos), Paramita (pha rol tu phyin pa), and Mantra, the unsurpassed essence is the Bhagavan Vajradhara, which the Tathagata (de bzhin gshegs pa) revealed from the accurate proclamation of names.' Those who do not understand this meaning are not true Lamas, and those who have degenerated from unsurpassed wisdom will appear in the future. Those who do not understand this meaning are not true Lamas, and those who have degenerated from unsurpassed wisdom will appear in the future; those degenerated ones will cause sentient beings to degenerate.' The meaning of the accurate proclamation of names, which is the wisdom body of all the Tathagatas, the ultimate truth (don dam), the eternal Dharmadhatu (chos kyi dbyings), if this is understood, the ultimate definitive meaning of all vehicles will be understood as one. Therefore, even though the meaning is one, there is no confusion. With many methods, without difficulty. Relying on sharp faculties, the mantra vehicle is particularly supreme.' The meaning of this verse has also been well explained.
