Explanation of the six benefits. The first is explaining that conceptual thought is not a valid measure (examination) without relying on tantras, scriptures, and instructions. The second is explaining the meaning of trustworthy, pure, and immaculate scriptures. The first is: In general, the way of conceptual thought, using inference after seeing, cannot correctly measure the sphere of Dharma-nature, and moreover, just as a Bodhisattva on the tenth ground cannot see the form of the night. Therefore, those who strongly hate Madhyamaka-gzhan-stong as a false doctrine and even cling to non-affirming emptiness must first determine the limits of the meaning of words that do not harm their respective tantric systems, which is very important. Considering this, the Omniscient One said, 'To think that Dharma-nature is determinative, to say that it is not all-determinative, is a word without personal experience of its meaning.' This is also without any bias. Some people think that because the all-determinative direct perception is self-characterized, Dharma-nature has characteristics. This is because of the fault of the common characteristic of determination, and the concealment of consciousness. For the mind of the noble ones without dualistic appearance, external examination is necessary. Moreover, even the Buddha does not have direct perception of Dharma-nature. In addition, what is the difficulty and grace of opening the door of seeing the deity, where ordinary people see the general meaning and the noble ones see direct perception, and personally welcome the self-characteristic of the general meaning? The measure of conceptual thought, which is as suspicious as a crow, cannot measure even a little of the Dharma of Secret Mantra, and in the end, it will not believe in anything, and will surely become a person without a share of accomplishment. Therefore, in the explanatory tantra of the Manjushri Magical Net, it says: 'Apart from the scriptures, the conceptual thoughts, all dharmas are not pure. The wisdom of the sages is also, if the scriptures are transmitted first, just like a blind person groping with his feet, like running to a dangerous cliff. Whoever takes inference as the main thing will not easily fall.' And, the 'Executioner Tantra' says: 'The speculative conceptual thinker, the accomplishment corresponding to this will be far away.' And, the 'Collected Intentions' says: 'Secret Mantra Vajra great sky, is not the sphere of words, cannot be realized by speech, it is very difficult to increase oneself. For example, measure or reason,'

With the wisdom of inference, it is not possible to realize! It is like a blind person measuring the height of the sky. Thus it is said. In the Kriya Samadhi Sutra, it is said: The great ocean of secret mantras, with analogy or measure or reason, with the wisdom of inference, it is not possible to distinguish! Thus it is said. Aryadeva said: In the future, in later times, without relying on profound teachings and instructions, taking the two established by reason as the main thing, holding each of their own tenets as valid, for the ultimate profound view, disbelieving and again refuting and arguing, that is self-destruction and also destroys others. Thus it is said. The reason is that, because of excessive attachment to conceptualization, in all the tantras, when combining the outer, inner, and other three into wisdom, like the outer, so is the inner, and so on, all are prone to arise doubts such as being no different from the secret lord, and in the end, with the karmic result of abandoning the Dharma, it is obvious that great suffering will be experienced. Therefore, starting from non-affirmation, the ultimate intention that should be sought, do not put it into the net of doubts of conceptualizers. Previously, some non-Buddhist hermits also found this inverted wrong view, and because they did not obtain the Dharma eye without dust, there may be cases of non-realization, wrong realization, and partial realization. Therefore, do not disturb the scriptures established by the Buddha himself, the protector Maitreya said: Because there is no one more intelligent than the Buddha, so there is no one in this world, all those supreme ones, as they are, are known by the all-knowing, others cannot know. Therefore, do not disturb the sutras established by the hermits themselves, because destroying the principle of the Muni, it will cause harm to the Dharma. Thus it is said. Secondly, explaining the intention of the trustworthy, pure, and undefiled words themselves, from the place of trust, and how to explain the teachings, the first point is: In general, the Buddha is free from the four causes of falsehood, therefore it is also said to be true, and for all dharmas, knowing without obstruction, free from the two obscurations of afflictions and knowledge, the Buddha does not lead with inferior vehicles, and so on, because it is said to be very true. In the Sutra of the Jewel in the Crown, it is said: The words are the words of determination, without fault, words of falsehood, will not be spoken, because there is no reason, determination.
