Regarding the need to focus on the qualities of view, as stated in the Tantra of the Wheel of Bliss: "Like the aged and weak need support, Always attend and respect the qualified Lama, If you constantly serve them with reverence, You will quickly reveal the fruit of Dharmakaya." And as stated in the Great Perfection Tantra of Wisdom Equal to the Sky: "First, with faith as the guide, Not regarding body and life, being generous in giving, Showing samsara and nirvana as one, Without fear or dread, Seize the moment without hesitation, This is shown as the means to realization, Like an elephant that does not retreat, destroying enemies, The Vajra Acharya Lama, Do not examine their conduct, examine the Dharma." Having relied on such a Lama, through the means of possessing the three satisfactions, it is necessary to learn their intention and conduct accordingly. Second, the path of union is: Identifying the basis to be determined, and how to determine it. The first is: From then on, in the determination, determining the nature of the originally pure, self-arisen wisdom, and how the appearances of Kaya and wisdom currently reside in sentient beings, there are two determinations, this is the first, the basis of Trekchö. Second, regarding the fruit that does not arise from causes abiding within oneself, that the Buddha not born from mind is primordially so, that the realization of the key instructions not born from scriptures, these three are explained, as stated in the Tantra of Wisdom Equal to the Sky: "The Buddha not born from mind, The fruit not born from causes, The key instructions not born from scriptures, And the supreme oral instructions." Grasping the definitive understanding of the condensed meaning, although other schools establish the three as base, path, and fruit, here, the three are made into the object to be determined and the determiner, I think it is more reasonable to show the supreme oral instructions as the path of practice. Among these, there are two: explaining from the respective aspects of the three, and condensing the key points and pointing to the non-elaborate instruction. The first is divided into three: the fruit not arising from causes, how the fruit does not arise from causes, and the determination of the nature of the fruit itself abiding. The first is: Dharmakaya does not abide in causes and conditions, measure through examples, and causes and conditions are unreasonable, measure through meaning. The first is: The example of Dharmakaya not abiding in causes is: For example, a precious jewel does not need to be created by causes and conditions, but abides in the ocean.

Since the Dharmakaya is not created by any cause or condition and pervades all sentient beings, as the Sutra says: The Tathagatagarbha pervades all sentient beings. Also, the Compendium of Definitive Meaning says: The analogy without cause or condition is like a wish-fulfilling gem that possesses everything. The Dharmakaya does not depend on causes, let alone rely on conditions. Also, the Tantra of the Vast Expanse of the Sky says: The self-born essence, the Dharmakaya, I am not made by the Buddhas, I am not altered by sentient beings, I do not depend on the five elements. Now listen to the essence of the Compendium again. From the very basis of the thigle Dharmakaya, it has transcended both cause and condition, and no antidote can ever be established, and it truly exists unchanging in the three times. Also, the Pearl Garland says: It pervades with emptiness and pervades with clarity. Secondly, if one believes that such a basis, which pervades all sentient beings, does not exist from the beginning, but is created temporarily and later by the two accumulations of causes, it is extremely unreasonable, because the Dharmakaya will be destroyed. Why? For example, the result produced by the combination of causes and conditions comes into existence from nothing, or ultimately the cause and effect that exists will be transformed into nothing. If that is the case, since the Dharmakaya was previously non-existent, it will be destroyed by causes and conditions, and when causes and conditions dissipate, it will also be exhausted, which is not reasonable. In general, all the dharmas of the outer, inner, and essential three bodies are caused by habitual ignorance, and arise from the impure objects of the four conditions. Therefore, if one is again the same as them, then abiding in the accumulation of wisdom without objects, and the accumulation of merit distracted by the clinging to self and other names, will not become the real cause for attaining Buddhahood. As the Tantra of Wisdom Equal to the Sky says: Cause is created and impermanent, it goes to conditions because it is destroyed by antidotes. Therefore, the self-born Dharmakaya, which is not created by conditions, is immutable, it is the essence of all dharmas. Because all inner and outer habitual tendencies are produced by evil causes and conditions, it is undoubtedly a delusion to deceive oneself and cling to them. Therefore, since it does not touch samsara and nirvana, the meaning of the definitive Dharmakaya essence is that the self-born body is not born from cause, and the result is not born from conditions. Also, the Provisional Meaning
