and the clear outer manifestation that transcends suffering. The so-called "ཉིད་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Chinese literal meaning)" refers to its nature, the realm of ultimate primordial purity. The so-called "ཟད་ (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Chinese literal meaning)" means the elements dissolving into the mother. Therefore, it says in the Thal 'gyur: "Thus, the words that ascertain the nature of reality, the dharma that knows gathering and combining, possesses action and characteristics, manifests self-manifestation, and holds each of its kinds. (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit, Chinese literal meaning) is uncreated, pervades the yogi who abides freely, the original, natural, and inherent, the number of sounds, words, and names is exhausted." So it says. The divisions are: the so-called exhaustion of the phenomena of appearance, the subtle and coarse elements of inner and outer, as well as afflictions, delusions, discriminations, object clinging, all arising, habits together with, transcending and exhausting artificial appearances; and the dharma of emptiness, mind and mental factors, alaya together with, exhausted in the dharmadhatu, the elaborations of the path appearances of clear outer form and wisdom also disappearing into the dharmadhatu, abiding in the fruit's dharmata, there are two forms. Therefore, it says in the Thal 'gyur: "Because it transcends artificial dharmas, dharma does not abide in words." So it says. Coarse discriminations block the inside, there is no form and wisdom, all dharmas go to the place of exhaustion, it is considered that the fruit is dharmata. So it says. The fourth is: the exhaustion method of sudden breakthrough from the first appearance, and the gradual transcendence of the four appearances in sequence. The fifth is: the degree of increase of the previous experience of appearance is complete, that itself gradually reaches the first ground, in the Longchen Nyingthig it says: "At this time, the increase and exhaustion of experience, appearance experience appearance, there is also no clinging." So it says. Also, the coarseness of the body is exhausted, the appearance composed of maturation and light is interrupted, in the Rabjam it says: "Who is accustomed to awareness itself? This one lifts his own body in his own place." So it says. The tangible senses and their five objects are exhausted, the subtle and coarse elements are lifted; all minds and mental factors are exhausted, the accumulation of discriminations of the three realms is interrupted; in the path of no interruption, the subtle obscurations of knowledge are extremely subtle. In the path of liberation, it has been destroyed, and in the special path, it finally touches the fruit. There is nothing other than the subtle obscurations of knowledge, therefore it is called the fruit of the exhaustion of the dharma of the path. In that itself it says: "The accumulation of discriminations of the experience body senses, and all the delusional clinging to words are exhausted." So it says. At that time, view and the viewed, meditation and its object of focus, single-pointed mindfulness, action and the actor.

When the arising of the body of practice is exhausted, all words and confusions that are separate from the truth of the path, along with its conditioned aspects, are eliminated. The clinging to samsara and nirvana is cleared away. The appearances of memory and what is remembered, such as going and staying, dissolve into the expanse, and even when surrounded by a hundred executioners, there is no fear or hesitation. As it says in the 'Vast Expanse': In the appearance of the exhaustion of the dharmadhatu, there is absolutely no view to be made. Because there is no view, appearance is exhausted. Samantabhadra's nature of reality is vast and great. Likewise, there is no meditation itself. Because there is no meditation, memory ceases. 'Action' cannot be expressed. Because there is no action, the arising of the body is exhausted. Relying on the edge of this exhaustion, there is nothing, no non-appearance, no appearance. Thus it is said. Sixth: At that time, in the state of the dharmakaya, free from elaboration, primordially pure, the spontaneously present, unobstructed appearance of wisdom is self-illuminating without decrease or increase, change or alteration. Compassion and the knowing aspect swirl in the expanse of wisdom, and the collection of thoughts, along with their basis, are cut off. Wisdom moves in the sky, and in the appearance of things as they are, there is no thought or objectification. The eye of knowledge widens. Having seized the ground of awareness, one gains the confidence of not being mistaken from then on. As it says in the 'All-Illuminating': By the elements dissolving into the mother, signs are liberated in their own place. By dissolving into the expanse of wisdom, the power of skill is shown to dissolve into the ground. By wisdom swirling in the sky, the self-illumination of the three kayas of wisdom is shown. By awareness seizing its own ground, it is shown that intention does not change. Thus it says. And in the instructions of 'Dumdun Trik', it says: The appearance of things as they are is the exhaustion of the nature of reality. Thus it is said. Seventh: The cycle of the three realms is cut off, and all appearances awaken into the nature of reality. As it says in the 'Vast Expanse': By the appearance of the exhaustion of the nature of reality, the continuity of the cycle of the three realms is cut off. At that time, my appearance and the signs and measures of realization, all phenomena are exhausted. When phenomena are exhausted, samsara is emptied. The sign and measure of the emptiness of samsara is that the forms of the six realms are not seen. The view without grasping and fixation is the appearance of the exhaustion of the nature of reality. Thus it says. Eighth: The continuation of the arising of the body is cut off, and the three realms are thoroughly purified. Existence is liberated on the ground, and the fruit of the three kayas is obtained. Having manifestly attained perfect enlightenment, one becomes equal in fortune to the Buddha Samantabhadra. As it says in that very text: Who can know the characteristics of this? All three thousand worlds are contained in a small pill. The great ocean is drunk in one gulp.
