I abide in speech, compassion abides in the heart, therefore the knowable dharma is confused in the mind. Whether above or below, all of these, due to the key point of the three co-emergent dharmas being inseparable, do not contradict the intent of each individual tantra in their respective aspects. Furthermore, like the appearance of confusion, by grasping the essence of the five inner wisdoms as self, from the Dharmadhatu wisdom arise the alaya and the affliction of ignorance; from the Mirror-like wisdom arise consciousness and hatred; from the Equality wisdom arise pride and afflicted mind; from the Discriminating wisdom arise desire and mind; from the Accomplishing wisdom arise entering consciousness and jealousy. By grasping the inner awareness as the Dharmakaya, the co-emergent afflictions rooted in ignorance, and the result of the confusion of the minds of the three realms and six classes of beings, are accumulated as the dwelling body of their respective sufferings. In general, among the five rays of wisdom, by grasping the white of the Mirror-like wisdom as self, it is confused into blood and water; the yellow of the Equality wisdom is confused into flesh and earth; the red of the Discriminating wisdom is confused into heat and fire; the green of the Accomplishing wisdom is confused into breath and wind; the blue of the Dharmadhatu wisdom is confused into consciousness and space. Thus, by grasping the outer appearances as the Dharmadhatu, the appearance of different objects is also due to the difference in the arising of sequential thoughts, the object of space is emptiness, light, and because it is coarse and obstructive, the elements arise, with earth and so on spreading from below in a progressively coarser manner. Thus, by grasping the self-radiance of the great wisdom of the Dharmadhatu Mother as form, and by grasping the four wisdoms of the Dharmakaya Father as self, they are confused into the four names, and the inner and outer sense bases, contact, feeling, craving, grasping, existence, birth, old age, death, and so on arise sequentially, and the wheel of existence, which enters the cycle of existence, turns without beginning, end, or interruption, and the result of confusion ripens in the inner and outer vessel and essence world like a wheel of fire. That is, the three causes are ignorance, the four conditions are actions, and because consciousness coarsely engages with objects, it is consciousness; it has four names; and due to the clarity and impurity of light and color, the inner and outer body and objects appear as sense bases; when these gather and meet, it is contact; from this arise the three feelings; and the craving for pleasure and pain, acceptance and rejection; the grasping of pleasurable objects; from this arise karma and afflictions.

Thus, karma is created that propels one into future lives, and from that, beings are born into their respective realms, and then there is aging and death. From beginning to end, one is deluded in the twelve links, and thus, when the sheath of the light of wisdom is lost, one falls into the sheath of the ripening habitual tendencies, thereby binding oneself. These are also because wisdom has the appearance of light or the body of the dharmadhatu, and because the dharmadhatu has the clear awareness, which is the mind of wisdom, therefore, from any part of the inseparability of dharmadhatu and wisdom, one grasps at two selves, and thus, from the six objects of desire and the four places of birth, etc., and the six afflictions, the six appearances of the six realms of beings arise, which is different from considering the elements as the cause, and there are also other ways of explaining and purposes. Furthermore, the wisdom of the dharmakaya awareness is defiled by ignorance and becomes the alaya. It is defiled by the afflicted mind, and the grasping at "I" as self becomes continuous. From there, the mind arises, and because of falsely thinking that the objects of the five senses are clear and pleasant, grasping at non-existence as existence, it is defiled, becoming a consciousness that engages in various elaborations of grasping at generality and self. As it says in the Rabjampa: "Awareness itself is confused by ignorance; non-confusion is Buddha, non-aging is human; the sound and meaning are confused." And: "The base has nowhere to do anything; because the power of indeterminacy is not known, the movement of consciousness vanishes, and is thoroughly stained by the stain of deliberate grasping." And: "The afflicted mind turns its face inward and grasps at 'I'; one fundamental delusion is the 'I'." And: "The five sense consciousnesses are defiled by the mind consciousness; from the alaya consciousness, they are defiled by the mind consciousness; they are deluded from the aspect of dualistic thought." Those delusions from the base, as it says in the Rabjampa: "Essence, nature, and compassion, though actually present, because of ignorance, the three of cause, condition, and result arise." This was previously quoted as the meaning of the base, and "The base is pure like the mirror wisdom; when conceptual thought moves, it is deluded into water; the base is pure like the wisdom of equality; when conceptual thought moves, it is deluded into earth; the base is pure like the discriminating wisdom; when conceptual thought moves, it is deluded into fire; the base is pure like the accomplishing wisdom; when conceptual thought moves, it is deluded into wind; the base is pure like the dharmadhatu wisdom; when conceptual thought moves, it is deluded into space; because of conceptual thought, it is grasped as the five objects." And: "Relying on earth, there are forms."
