Since there is no obstruction, it transcends the coarse realm, thereby eliminating the extreme of annihilation. Such a Dharmadhatu is inherently without distinction. The aspect of awareness-emptiness, free from elaboration, is called Dharmakaya-Dharmadhatu, with the same taste. As it says in the 'Vast Expanse of Clarity': 'Primordially non-existent emptiness, like the sky, is named Dharmakaya.' Thus it is said. Secondly, from the aspect of Sambhogakaya, the self-nature of the Dharmakaya, which is related to the appearance of distinctions and has the same meaning, the great radiance of primordial luminosity is explained: The way of reversal of the union of the two truths, appearance and emptiness, father and mother, is called the intention of the precious amulet box. The nature of the precious amulet box is the basis for the spontaneous accomplishment of eight qualities. The essence that transcends the body of habit and light is called the inner chamber of the spontaneously accomplished precious amulet box, which is said to be the appearance of the Dharmakaya's wisdom. As it says: 'The essence of the body is wisdom.' From this, the meaning is drawn, and in reality, it is approaching the three Kayas of the Dharmakaya. Outwardly, there is no clarity, but inwardly, light 5, body 5, wisdom 5, a total of fifteen, etc., exist without interruption, so the profound radiance is self-luminous. The subtle aspects are difficult to observe. The body and the basic realm from which the appearances of the three bases, paths, and results arise. The cause of the pure Rupakaya is not accomplished through action and effort, but is self-arisen and clear, called the appearance of self-nature, spontaneously accomplished. As it says in 'Longchen Rabjam': 'In the precious radiant body dwells, the wisdom eye has no dimming, clear and transparent, pervading greatly, the wisdom light has no inside or outside, primordial clarity, transparently dwells, the wisdom heart has no wide or narrow, emptiness-clarity, five lights dwell.' And so on, extensively explained. Especially: 'Knowing and understanding, there is illuminating appearance, knowing and understanding, all aspects are complete, since there is no object to be grasped by the grasper, therefore there is no object to be grasped by conceptual thought, in the wisdom that transcends light, abiding in the pure Mahamudra, in the great expanse of self-nature appearance, there is originally no object of signs.' The aspect of meaning abides in this way. Self-radiance arises, and the aspect of white, which is uninterrupted, is called white. The aspect of white abides in profound clarity. Appearance self-exhausts, the aspect of yellow. Not appearing, recognizing one's own face from the depths, since the face is without attachment, radiance arises, liberated from one's own bonds, attachment self-exhausts, the aspect of red. Abiding in profound, unmixed clarity. For the unmixed, each holding its own sign, free from action, effort, and movement,

The green of non-action is also the ray of the first ones, invisible, yet clear from the depths. Through the connection of deep clarity pervading, the unchanging, pervasive blue remains primordially complete, without action. The body is appearance without inherent existence, primordially great self-purity, having reached the peak of the Great Perfection. Yet, it is not established as an entity, therefore it is not permanent or enduring, nor is it limited. It abides in the manner of self-existing luminosity. Because conditioned signs are self-purified, it abides as the basis of great deep clarity. Empty of pervasion and pervasiveness, it abides without any limitation. Being empty-clear, it is without two extremes, transcending the extremes of permanence and annihilation. The aspect of illuminating appearance is unceasing, without other kinds, and self-settled. By its nature, it abides in aspects. Thus it is said. Here, if one does not recognize that self-existing luminosity is the basis or essence of the Sambhogakaya, it will not accord with the three Kayas of clarity within the Dharmadhatu, nor with the wisdom of the Dharmakaya. Furthermore, the imputation of characteristics is also based on this aspect, and the five Kayas will not become the play of this, thus there is contradiction. Moreover, if this is internally divided, from five groups it becomes thirty-five, and from that very thing: the five Kayas and the five wisdoms, the five colors of light-wisdom, and the five activities of pacifying, increasing, magnetizing, subduing, and spontaneously accomplishing, the five families such as the Buddha family, the five mothers such as Dharmadhatu richness, the five bases and the five paths, the five results, the five self-lights, and so forth, these thirty-five groups of five are perfected by one wisdom. Thus it is said. Also, in the Garland it says: The five dharmas are: 1. absence of self-nature, 2. absence of characteristics, 3. absence of object, 4. absence of expression, 5. dharma of absence of elaboration. The five wisdom winds are the five wisdom bodies of the basis, and the five essences of union and the five self-natures. The five compassions are those of urging and supplicating: 1. force-born, 2. circumstance-meeting, 3. aspect of the nature of peaceful abiding, 4. compassion arising naturally. By these, it pervades all. Thus it is said. Thus, the aspect of self-existing luminosity, spontaneously accomplished, is also named Sambhogakaya. As it says in the Longsal: That which is the self-existing luminosity, is named Sambhogakaya. That which possesses the five lights of empty-clarity, is named spontaneous accomplishment. Thus it is said. Third, the mind of the Dharmakaya or all-pervading Nirmanakaya, the wondrous play, in relation to the manner of abiding and pervasion.
