The Great Lord is such that, without falling to either side of appearance and emptiness, the wisdom of great compassion, knowing the state of as many and as they are, the knowing aspect is unobstructed, yet free from all grasping and clinging, not produced by causes and conditions, uncompounded, spontaneously accomplished, clear and without darkness, unobstructed, hence great emptiness, in great emptiness all liberated, the great essence of appearing completely without mixture, the great purity of arising without obstruction in any way, like a cloudless sky, complete with the self-power of wisdom, and because there exists the great emanation of the Dharmakaya, which has perfected abandonment and realization, therefore, in the Longchen Rabjam it says: "How is the non-dual emanation empty? How many self-illuminations are there without distinction? It is the wisdom of knowing clarity and emptiness. The nature of delusion is not established as empty. Abandonment is perfectly complete. Because the essence is non-dual, realization is perfectly complete." And it says: "The wisdom body of vast intention, the part of wisdom knowing is complete, naturally appears to sentient beings, compassion pervades the emanation body, wisdom plays the Dharmakaya's power, unobstructed miracles appear in any way." That is to say, if there is no such wisdom that transcends delusion and non-delusion, the Buddha who has perfected abandonment and realization, the knowing aspect that is free from the mind's conceptualization, then the Buddha who is free from the mind of the three realms will not arise with the power of knowing the faculties, abilities, and thoughts of the beings to be tamed. In the wisdom of vast intention, one cannot merely say delusion. Likewise, what is non-delusion? Therefore, delusion is pure from the beginning. And it says: "In the wisdom of all-pervading compassion, the door of various appearances arises without action, the appearance of action is complete in essence, in the emptiness of the Dharmakaya's wisdom, wisdom, compassion, knowing, and love arise, naturally appears to sentient beings, without this, the cycle of existence and nirvana is cut off, it is known and clear by knowing, the powerful does not follow the power, I am I, I have no attachment, in the essence itself, the cycle of existence and nirvana are clear." And it says: "In the aspect of compassion, there are two wisdoms, arising without doer and deed." Thus, placing such great compassion as the wisdom of the emanation body is also the blessing of emptiness and clarity, and from the unobstructed aspect of the basis of various appearances, in the Longchen Clear Treasury it says: The self-nature of the delusion of clear light.
