Sa te. This is the mudra of the great blood-drinker, the hero said. Hands joined in prayer, raised upwards, Feet apart, stretching and contracting, Dancing with the rhythm of steps, This is the great mudra of Hūṃ. Feet apart, soles facing downwards, Hands apart, dancing, Making offerings with gestures, This is the powerful mudra. Left foot entwined around the right, Hands circling in a dancing manner, Striking the palms together forcefully, This is the mudra of complete victory. With the thumbs of the right and left hands, Pressing the base of the fingernails of the little fingers, Raising them in a stretching manner, This is the mudra of the one with the blue staff. With the fist of the right hand, Holding it up in a striking manner, And the left hand resting on the hip, This is the mudra of destroying Yama. With the palm of the right hand, Holding it up in a stabbing manner, And the left hand acting as if grasping, This is the mudra of the immovable protector. Hands joined in prayer, The middle fingers crossed behind, The two thumbs also separated and raised, Placed on the crown of the head, it is the mudra of the throat. Right foot pointing downwards, Right hand raised upwards, The left foot supported by the hand, This is the mudra that cannot be overcome by others. Hands resting on the hips, Feet together, jumping, Called the nectar swirling mudra, The great hero said again. Hands crossed left and right, Feet stretching and contracting, Called the mudra of conquering the three realms, The protector hero said again. Having invited them to the mandala, Offer the red argha, And also present other offerings. Having praised with the vajra song, Then accomplish all the tasks. The wrathful Vajra and its retinue, Make all the vast realms of the world, Destroyed in an instant with wrath, There is nothing that is not destroyed. Thus concludes the seventeenth chapter, the Karma Chapter, from the Noble Lasso of Means, Garland of Lotuses. With the application of vajra subtle mantras, Having summoned them in an instant, And forcefully applied them as if binding, Even a deity will be destroyed. Having suppressed the subtle mantra mothers, Such as the one with the head of an owl, Steal their eyes, ears, nose, and tongue, Their minds become distracted, and their meditation declines. Having suppressed the subtle mantras, Obstructing their practice, Secretly meditating on confused methods, The practice declines and scatters. Thus concludes the eighteenth chapter, the Fierce Karma Chapter, from the Noble Lasso of Means, Garland of Lotuses. In the three-cornered homa pit, Place the vajra arrow and bow, Adorned with skulls. If invited and burned, even the deities will die. Having sent the subtle mantras to summon them, If all the hearths are burned, they will die quickly. With meat mixed with incense, Offer to all the deities. Having sung the vajra song, The flesh of the bhutas is very delicious. The blood of the bhutas is very delicious. The bones of the bhutas are delicious, Please partake and make everyone happy. Thus concludes the nineteenth chapter, the Fierce Homa Chapter, from the Noble Lasso of Means, Garland of Lotuses. On iron or black wood, Place a head, a spear, and a three-pointed tip, Having visualized the wrathful deities and wrathful mothers, If placed, even the deities will be destroyed. Thus concludes the twentieth chapter, the Fierce Phurba Chapter, from the Noble Lasso of Means, Garland of Lotuses. Iron powder, poison, and stone powder, Mixed and kneaded with blood, And mustard seed powder and other mixtures, If thrown with the mixture, they will be destroyed. Thus concludes the twenty-first chapter, the Fierce Torma Chapter, from the Noble Lasso of Means, Garland of Lotuses. In the mortar of the wrathful mother's mandala, Striking with the hammer of the wrathful deity, Having visualized the vajra pestle and hammer, Even a deity will be struck. Thus concludes the twenty-second chapter, the Fierce Application Chapter, from the Noble Lasso of Means, Garland of Lotuses.
