E bo, excellent and supreme! Hūṃ hoḥ! Two index fingers joined, supreme jewel! Two middle fingers joined, meaning of glory! Two ring fingers joined, crown of the victorious ones! With a laughing sound, the little fingers touch. Traṃ te ru hā! Index finger above and below, supreme Dharma! Middle finger above and below, supreme Mañjuśrī! Ring finger above and below, supreme wheel! Little finger above and below, is speech. Hrīḥ phaṃ ṭāṃ hūṃ! Index finger crossed, supreme action! Middle finger crossed, act to protect! Ring finger crossed, supreme yaksha! Little finger crossed, said to abide. Ha traṃ a phaṃ! With this great mudra symbol, the Buddha's mandala appears beautiful. The self-nature mandala is perfectly complete. With two songs endowed with mudras, the clearly manifest mandala descends. With the great expansion of the mudra, the two aspects of grasping and being grasped, are the mudra through pure manifestation. With the clarity of each individual letter, by transforming into dance, one transcends suffering. With jaḥ and hoḥ, etc., by transforming into dance, one binds with vajra. From the definitive understanding of the secret essence itself, the sixteenth chapter, the expansion of the mudra, is complete. Then, the Bhagavan, glorious Samantabhadra, sang this song called "Weapon Vow": Hūṃ, the three vajras of body, speech, and mind, are the wisdom of body, speech, and mind. The wisdom of body, speech, and mind, because Vajrasattva abides in his own nature, increases and expands the wisdom vajra. Emaho, great and supreme vajra, is invoked as one's own name, in no way destructible or divisible, in no way moving or mixing. Because it has become supreme great bliss, everything is sealed with four seals. The mind of all the victorious ones, Vajradhara is the king of all, for the sake of showing one's own symbol, is called Indivisible Vajradhara. Hūṃ. Just as a king with his own seal, just as a king places importance on vows, abiding in the essence of great bliss, and striving with great power at the right time, in that way, he plants it in all beings. Just as it is difficult to transgress and indestructible, the king is the place of the supreme mudra, the form of the great self, with signs. Hūṃ. What is called a mudra is proclaimed, for the sake of the stability of one's own body. Vajra, vajra, great and fierce, and the lord of great self, with the king of taming methods.
