One should contemplate the assembly of wrathful deities residing in all ten directions, whether near or far. The sequence to be explained here is for the purpose of impaling demons, obstacles, and misleaders with the vajra dagger, and for the purpose of guarding the place, contemplating the wheel of protection guarded by mantras. In the verses to be explained here, it is clearly stated: In all directions of the earth, first offer torma to the field guardians with the three vajras. Afterwards, with the four vajra recitations, the assembly of demons residing in all directions and non-directions must be burned. Here, "four" is said because it is the principal. In detail, it is certain that all vajras must burn, and it should be understood that mantras are placed on all limbs. Then, the four mandalas are made into one, reaching the end of the boundary, like the edge of the shadow at dawn. Then, again, contemplate a building that is two hundred yojanas high, outside, at the far end that can be seen from afar, where the sky and the earth meet, appearing as a round mandala, from those four united mandalas arise the three realms.
