The twelve-spoked wheel of the limbs, the twelve joints of the feet and hands, each is a wheel with the nature of thirty channels. The twelve wheels have thirty auspicious deities such as the upper lip moon, etc. From these wheels, the six joints of the right hand and the six joints of the foot are separated by six long vowels (आ इ उ ऋ ए ऐ, ā i u ṛ e ai), in the order of collecting the six groups of consonants such as ka by the illuminating dharma. Similarly, the six wheels of the joints of the left hand and foot, the six groups of consonants separated by the distinction of short vowels such as space, in the order of producing by the illuminating dharma such as space, that is, the statements of each collection, expressed by अ (a) and so on. From these vowel groups with consonants, the life-wind that acts during the day, together with death, runs through the distinction of the palaces, so-called running, first is running to the north, that is, Capricorn and so on, and the upper lip moon and so on. This running runs in the six joint wheels of the right and left hands.
