In the center, in order to enable all sentient beings to attain the unobstructed state through the order of explaining mandalas and initiations, I shall explain. O good lord of men, listen! This is a brief teaching summarizing the words of the Blessed One's reply. Now, the Blessed One's collected realm of the world, the content revealed by the collector Manjushri with four verses such as "From the first Buddha, the types of emptiness of time," I shall explain. The praise of this mantra method is: The Blessed One said that from the liberation of the three vehicles, one abides in the fruit with one vehicle. Whoever does not understand the intention of the three vehicles will fall away from the path of the all-knowing one of time. Regarding the mantra vehicle, not understanding other languages of subtle intent, if one commits acts such as taking life, enjoys the property of monasteries and temples, clings to the extremes of permanence and annihilation, becomes attached to enjoying external objects, and argues with the Three Jewels in the guise of a teacher, one will fall into hell. Here, for the sake of the next life and this life, sentient beings should not offend four elders: Among them, the elder of wisdom refers to the Vajra Acharya, a monk or layperson who has attained clairvoyance and realized the stages such as the Joyful One. The Blessed One said that one worthy of offering is equal to ten monks. If not, the elder of asceticism refers to the one who holds the ochre robe. For those who hold the ochre robe, the elders in years and the mantra practitioners, the householder teachers who are elders by initiation, should be prostrated to at all times, because they are elders of asceticism, and householders do not have clairvoyance. The elder of learning refers to the wise one worthy of offering, who clarifies the doctrine and subdues the opponents of others and the classes of demons. These are for the sake of the next life, and sentient beings should please them. The elder of wealth refers to the king, who is to be pleased by those who seek the enjoyment of this life. Thus, the four elders are those whom sentient beings should

It should be known. Therefore, one who knows the three vehicles is an elder in asceticism. For householders, unless they become ascetics, there is no opportunity to hear the Pratimoksha from the Hearer Vehicle. Therefore, unless endowed with clairvoyance, householders will not become elders, and the Blessed One has not spoken in any vehicle about householders who are separated from the ordained and who enjoy monasteries and temples. Therefore, in order to fully understand the three vehicles, one must first rely on the treatises of the Vaibhashika school, because there exists a world of self-nature composed of aggregates of atoms, and similarly, there exists a bearer, but the Blessed One did not say whether it is permanent or impermanent. One should also understand the times of the world's arising, ceasing, forming, and destroying. Therefore, formation is from the power of emptiness at the time of arising, and the emptinesses, according to worldly terms, are not the objects of the senses such as the eye, but exist in the nature of atoms, such as the five material qualities of earth, water, fire, wind, and taste, and the natures of four, three, two, and one. The sixth quality, the Dharmadhatu, pervades all, and these are the emptinesses. From those empty atoms, by the power of the time of arising, what is called wind is that among those atoms, first, for a while, the atoms of wind become attached to each other. From that attachment, what is light and moves is called wind. Similarly, the atoms of fire, all clinging together, the lightning with wind is called fire. Similarly, the atoms of water, gathered together, all clinging together, the rain with wind and fire is called water. Similarly, the atoms of earth, all clinging together, appearing in the sky as a bow of the senses, is called the earth. The atoms of taste pervade everything. Thus, from the five emptinesses, they become wind, fire, water, and earth. From the power of the wind of truly holding, churning, and shaping, islands, mountains, and oceans, etc., arise.
