请迅速说（地）。佛陀薄伽梵和，同样，所有佛陀薄伽梵也随喜。佛陀薄伽梵，菩萨圣者观世音自在，又这样禀告说：薄伽梵，我回忆起过去无数劫以前，这里出现一位名为佛陀薄伽梵千光王清净住者。那位佛陀薄伽梵，众生的上师，为了慈悲忆念我，为了利益一切有情，以大悲心圆满、不退转、广大地宣说了这个如心要般的法门。当他将如黄金般颜色的手放在我的头上时，这样说道：善男子，为了你利益未来恶世的一切有情，为了给予他们巨大的安乐，受持这个如心要般的秘密真言吧！这样说道。我那时最初就安住于初地。像这样，我一次听到这个秘密真言，就在那时安住的同时， निश्चित地证悟了第八地。那时我获得了心满意足、欢喜和快乐，就在那时我发了这样的愿：如果我未来能够利益、安乐和寂静一切有情，现在 निश्चित让我的身上圆满千手和千眼吧！这样祈愿后，就在发出愿望的那一刻，千手和千眼就圆满了。十方的大地也发生了六种震动，十方的一切佛陀薄伽梵都向我投射了千道光芒，照亮了十方无边无际的世界。此后，在众多佛陀薄伽梵的眷属坛城中，我一次又一次地遇到并听闻，并在他们面前受持了这个陀罗尼咒。又生起了许多欢喜和喜悦。我获得了在无数劫中对生和死的微细 निश्चित证悟，此后恒常念诵。

Speak quickly (of the earth). The Buddha Bhagavan, and likewise, all the Buddhas Bhagavans also rejoice. To the Buddha Bhagavan, the Bodhisattva Arya Avalokiteshvara, the Lord of Freedom, again made this request: Bhagavan, I recall that countless eons ago, there appeared here a Buddha Bhagavan named the Pure Dweller, King of a Thousand Rays. That Buddha Bhagavan, the teacher of beings, in order to remember me with compassion, and for the sake of benefiting all sentient beings, with great compassion, fully, irreversibly, and extensively explained this heart-like essence. When he placed his hand, which was like the color of gold, on my head, he said: O son of noble family, for the sake of benefiting all sentient beings in the future degenerate age, and for the sake of giving them great happiness, hold this secret mantra that is like the heart's essence! Thus he spoke. At that time, I was initially established on the first bhumi. Like this, when I heard this secret mantra once, while remaining in that state, I certainly realized the eighth bhumi. At that time, I obtained satisfaction, joy, and happiness, and at that very moment, I made this aspiration: If in the future I am able to benefit, bring happiness, and peace to all sentient beings, now certainly let my body be completely endowed with a thousand hands and a thousand eyes! As soon as I made that aspiration, at that very moment, while still present, a thousand hands and a thousand eyes were completely perfected. The great earth in the ten directions also shook in six ways. From the ten directions, all the Buddhas Bhagavans emitted a thousand rays of light upon me, illuminating the boundless realms of the ten directions. Thereafter, in the mandala of the retinues of many Buddhas Bhagavans, I repeatedly encountered and heard, and in their presence, I held this dharani mantra. Again, many joys and delights arose. I obtained a subtle certain realization of birth and death in countless eons, and thereafter, I constantly recite.

And hold it, may it not be abandoned. For the purpose of holding this dharani mantra, wherever I am born, may I always be born miraculously from a lotus in the presence of all Buddhas, the Bhagavat, and may I not take birth from a mother's womb. Whether it is a monk, a nun, a male devotee, a female devotee, a boy, or a girl, whoever wishes to recite and hold this mantra should generate a mind of love and compassion towards all sentient beings. When going to the world, may the hungry ghosts be satisfied! When I go to the realm of the Asuras, may their minds be tamed! When I go to the animal realm, may they naturally attain the very essence of great wisdom! Having made such aspirations, with faith and mindfulness in mind, I will recite my name. Then, this teacher of mine, namely the Tathagata Amitabha, should be constantly remembered. Then, this secret mantra should be recited. If one recites this five times in one night, one will abandon the heavy karma accumulated from one's own birth and death, including the hundreds of thousands and tens of millions of karmas accumulated, and be purified. Again, I beseech the Bhagavan: Venerable Bhagavan, if gods and all humans recite and uphold this Dharani mantra of the nature of great compassion as it is, then when they die, the Buddhas, the Bhagavatans of the ten directions, will extend their hands towards them and say: Where do you wish to be born? Go to the place where you have made your aspirations! Again, I beseech the Bhagavan in this way: Venerable Bhagavan, if any human or non-human recites and upholds this secret mantra of the nature of great compassion, if he falls into the three lower realms, may I not attain the Unsurpassed Perfect Enlightenment. If someone recites and upholds this secret mantra, but does not obtain birth in the world realm of all the Buddhas, the Bhagavatans, may I not become a Buddha. Furthermore, if someone recites and upholds this secret mantra, but does not obtain Samadhi and various kinds of right views, may I not become a Buddha. Furthermore, if someone recites and upholds this secret mantra, but cannot completely fulfill all that is in their mind in one lifetime, then I will not receive the name called "Essence of the Nature of Great Compassion."
