When the sun rises, one should circumambulate before the sun, reciting the essence of the Unfailing King, then the sun will descend, and all that is requested will be granted. Circumambulating before the face of the full moon, reciting the essence of the Unfailing Lasso, then the moon and stars, and the assembly of stars will descend. All supreme thoughts will be granted. Circumambulating a stupa containing relics, reciting the Unfailing King, and waving a staff, then the stupa will burn and produce sound. All that is thought will be spoken. All that is desired will be granted. One should circumambulate the Tathagata, reciting the Unfailing Essence, and waving a staff, then all the Tathagatas will be seen, and all the Tathagatas will give breath, and all thoughts and hopes will be completely fulfilled. Or, the very form of the noble Avalokiteśvara will abide in front at dawn. All supreme thoughts will be granted. All needs will be accomplished. One will attain the accomplishment of the Unfailing Staff Vidyadhara Chakravartin. When it does not rain, having gone to the place of the nagas, remember the essence of the Unfailing King. One should wave the staff. Merely by circumambulating, the nagas will cause a great rain to fall. Any desired rain will fall. If the rain is too heavy, on the roof, loudly recite the essence of the Unfailing Lasso, if one waves the staff, then the excessive rain will cease. After fasting on the fourteenth day of the waxing moon, place the staff on the belly of Norzang's son and recite the essence of the Unerring Lasso King twenty-one times. If you recite the King of Wrathful Ones, around dawn of the fourth watch, the son of Norbu Zangpo himself will appear before the vidyadhara and give ten thousand gold coins.
