Those who eat carrion and those who drink what flows from garbage heaps as food should not violate (this mantra). Killers and, sorcery that changes behavior and, those who cause distraction and, zombies and, those who change the mind and, those who cause swelling and, food poisoning and, vomiting and, those who obscure harm and, harmful gazes and, incorrect writing and, incorrect meditation and, harms, etc., should not violate (this mantra). One-day fever and, two-day fever and, three-day fever and, four-day fever and, seven-day fever and, half-month fever and, one-month fever and, half-day fever and, daytime fever and, momentary fever and, constant fever and, severe fever and, fever caused by spirits and, fever caused by wind and, fever caused by bile and, fever caused by phlegm and, fever caused by a combination, should not violate (this mantra). All fevers should not violate (this mantra). Headache and, migraine and, stuttering and, eye disease and, nose disease and, mouth disease and, throat disease and, heart disease and, swollen throat lymph nodes and, ear disease and, toothache and, heartache and, rib pain and, back pain and, abdominal pain and, cheek pain and, urethral pain and, genital pain and, extreme genital pain and, waist pain and, thigh pain and, buttock pain and, hand pain and, foot pain and, limb pain and, small limb pain, should not violate (this mantra). Scabies and, itching and, smallpox and, leprosy and, tumors and, pustules and, ringworm and, burns and, swelling, etc., should not violate (this mantra). All diseases and, all poisons and, all hatred and, all fears and, all epidemic diseases and, fighting and, all arguments and, harm and, infectious diseases and, all conflicts, should not violate (this mantra). O, Venerable Ananda, whoever violates this Queen of Vidyas, the Great Golden Peacock, Vajrapani will smash his head into seven pieces. The splendor of all Buddhas and, Bodhisattvas and, Pratyekabuddhas and, Shravakas will make his appearance unpleasant. The mind will become unpleasant. The noble beings will be deceived. The Four Great Kings will also face being banished.

The reason for the defilement of the bow is because of the curse. The reason for the curse is because of the oath. The reason for the oath is because of something called "Pu Zeng." The reason for "Pu Zeng" is that it will be liberated in the same way. He will not suffer the fear of the king, there will be no fear of thieves, and there will be no fear of fire. He will not die by water. Poison will not penetrate his body, nor will weapons. He will sleep peacefully and wake up peacefully. He will have happiness, no harm, and no fear. Defeating opponents and conquering enemies. He will not be injured. He will be liberated from all fears. He will live long and happily, Kunda, except for the maturation of previous karma. Kunda, the great peacock, the king of vidyā-mantras, should be recited when it is too rainy or when there is little rain. It will please all the nāgas and will stop heavy rain. When there is little rain, the son or daughter of the lineage will cause rain to fall as much as they desire. Kunda, if merely remembering the great peacock, the king of vidyā-mantras, can pacify all fears and enemies, what need is there to mention those who have not been broken into pieces, who hold it completely, or who have achieved happiness? Kunda, hold this great peacock, the king of vidyā-mantras! For the sake of protecting, saving, and concealing the four assemblies—bhikṣus, bhikṣuṇīs, upāsakas, and upāsikās—fully understand this great peacock, the king of vidyā-mantras, which completely pacifies all enemies.
