I prostrate to all the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, Śrāvakas, and Pratyekabuddhas of the past, future, and present. I prostrate to the Buddha. I prostrate to the Dharma. I prostrate to the Sangha. I prostrate to the seven perfectly enlightened Buddhas together with their Śrāvaka Sangha. I prostrate to the Arhats in the world. I prostrate to the Bodhisattvas, such as Maitreya. I prostrate to those who will not return. I prostrate to those who will return once. I prostrate to those who have entered the stream. I prostrate to those who have gone rightly in the world. I prostrate to those who have rightly entered. Having prostrated to them, this great peacock, queen of vidyā-mantras, should be applied. May I accomplish this vidyā-mantra! All you hosts of bhūtas, whoever walks on the earth, walks in the sky, walks in the water, and the gods, the nāgas, the asuras, the wind gods, the garuḍas, the gandharvas, the kinnaras, the mahoragas, the yakshas, the rakshasas, the pretas, the flesh-eaters, the bhūtas, the kumbhāṇḍas, the vetālas, the corpse-vetālas, the desiccators, the maddeners, the oppressors, the forgetters, the suppressors, listen to me! Hosts of bhūtas, those who steal splendor, those who eat wombs as food, those who drink blood as food, those who eat fat as food, those who eat flesh as food, those who eat grease as food, those who eat bones as food, those who eat the newly born as food, those who steal life, those who eat tormas as food, those who eat garlands as food, those who eat fragrance as food, those who eat incense as food, those who eat flowers as food, those who eat fruits as food, those who eat crops as food, those who eat burnt offerings as food, those who eat pus as food.

And, those who eat feces as food, those who drink urine as food, those who eat leftovers as food, those who eat saliva as food, those who eat nasal mucus as food, those who eat phlegm as food, those who eat impure things as food, those who eat vomit as food, and those who drink what drips from holes, those who possess sinful minds, those who possess hateful minds, those who possess violent minds, and those who take the lives of others, listen to me! This queen of knowledge mantras, the Great Golden Peacock, shall be recited. Incense, flowers, incense sticks, and torma offerings are also given. Those who possess sinful minds, those who possess hateful minds, those who possess violent minds, and those who take the lives of others, and all the spirits who eat essence as food, depart! Those who possess peaceful minds, those who possess loving minds, those who possess virtuous minds, listen to me! Those who have great faith in the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, listen to me! Such as: Black-faced woman, transformer, pot-holder, conch-holder, lotus-eyed one, plunderer, green-haired one, glorious one, monkey-like reddish-yellow one, dangling one, extremely dangling one, holder of the noose of time, pot-bellied one, messenger of Yama, sister of Yama, profound being. Please accept these offerings of flowers, incense, fragrance, and torma! Please protect me from all fears and harms. May I live to be a hundred years old! May I see a hundred autumns! May the words of my knowledge mantra be accomplished, Svāhā (藏文:སྭཱ་ཧཱ།). Thus have I heard, at one time, the Blessed One was dwelling in Shravasti, in the Jeta Grove, Anathapindika's Park.
