Not clinging to pure places, whatever sins I have committed. Being arrogant with the pride of wealth, with the pride of lineage and enjoyment, and with the pride of riding, whatever sins I have committed. Evil thoughts and evil speech, and all the actions done wrongly, not regarding them as the target of sin, whatever sins I have committed. The workings of a child's mind, the mind of unknowing darkness, and being under the influence of sinful friends, various disturbing thoughts of afflictions, being under the control of playful joy, being under the control of sorrow and illness, and the fault of insatiable wealth, whatever sins I have committed. Mingling with non-noble beings, the cause of jealousy and stinginess, and the faults of deceit and poverty, whatever sins I have committed. At the time when poverty arises, the fear of desires, and not becoming wealthy, whatever sins I have committed. Being under the control of a deceitful mind, being under the control of desire and anger, being afflicted by hunger and thirst, whatever sins I have committed. For the sake of food and drink, for the sake of women, possessions, and clothing, various torments of afflictions, whatever sins I have committed. The sins of body, speech, and mind, the three doors of misdeeds accumulated, whatever has been done in such ways, all of these I confess. Whatever disrespect has been done to the Buddhas and the Dharma, and also to the Shravakas, all of these I confess. And whatever disrespect has been done to the Pratyekabuddhas and the Bodhisattvas, all of these I confess. Whatever disrespect has been done to those who speak the sacred Dharma, and also not being respectful to the Dharma, all of these I confess. Because I am always ignorant, abandoning the sacred Dharma, and not being respectful to my parents, all of these I confess. Being obscured by foolishness and a child's mind, and by attachment, hatred, and ignorance, and by pride and arrogance, all of these I confess. In the ten directions of the world, I make offerings to the Ten Powers, may all sentient beings in the ten directions be liberated from all suffering.

I prostrate. May all immeasurable sentient beings Be established on the ten bhumis. And having abided on the ten bhumis, May all become tathagatas. For as long as it is possible To liberate all of them from the ocean of suffering, Even for the sake of each sentient being, I will practice for hundreds of millions of kalpas. That which is called the Noble Golden Light Sutra, Which purifies all actions, Which reveals the profound, I will teach it to those sentient beings. Whoever in thousands of kalpas Has committed extremely unbearable sins, By confessing thoroughly just once, All those will be purified. Whoever can quickly and completely Exhaust the veils of karma, By the virtue of the Noble Golden Light Sutra, Having confessed these confessions, May I abide on the ten supreme jewel-source grounds, May I illuminate the qualities of the Buddha, May I be liberated from the ocean of existence. May I perfect omniscience With the ocean of Buddhas, rivers, The profound ocean of qualities, And the immeasurable qualities of the Buddhas. May I become hundreds of thousands of samadhis, And immeasurable dharanis, And the powers, strengths, limbs of enlightenment, May I become perfect in the ten powers. With the mind of contemplation, may the Buddhas Deign to look upon me. With the mind of compassion, Deign to forgive my faults. Whatever sins I have committed In the past in hundreds of kalpas, Therefore, I am sorrowful, Afflicted by poverty, sorrow, and fear. I fear sinful actions, My mind is always humbled. Wherever I go, I have no joy anywhere. All the Buddhas are compassionate, They dispel the fears of all beings, Deign to forgive my faults, May I be liberated from fears. May the Tathagatas wash away The stains of my afflictions and karmas. May the Buddhas wash me With the water of compassion. I confess all sins, Whatever I have done in the past, And whatever sins I have now, I confess all of those. All the actions I have committed wrongly, In the future I will not do, and I will restrain myself. Whatever wrongs I have committed, I will not conceal those sins.
