Reciting four hundred thousand times will cause one to become the universal monarch of all vidyadharas. Reciting five hundred thousand times will cause all the doors of the asuras to be opened. All dragon abodes will be opened. Reciting six hundred thousand times will cause all treasures to emerge. Reciting seven hundred thousand times will cause one to receive empowerment from all the Tathagatas. One will meet with all the Tathagatas, and thus, from higher to higher, all the blessings of the emanation of the distinctions of qualities will be obtained. Reciting one million times will cause one to receive empowerment from all the Tathagatas. One will meet with all the Tathagatas, and thus, from higher to higher, the distinctions of qualities will be obtained. Having committed the five inexpiable sins, or slandered the noble ones, or abandoned the sacred Dharma, or indulged in Avici, all of these, if one recites one hundred thousand times, all karmic obscurations will be purified. Merely that unsurpassed accomplishment, the method of accomplishment using amrita ointment (ldong ros) is explained as follows: After bathing thoroughly and wearing clean clothes, consuming three white foods, then taking amrita ointment, placing it in a copper vessel, in front of the Buddha Bhagavan, from the thirteenth to the fifteenth day of the full moon, reciting one million times, from then on, one should recognize that the signs will be accomplished. If it turns black, then put a tilaka on the forehead. From then on, one will achieve invisibility, will enter all the gates of the asuras, will enter all places, will do whatever one wants to do. If smoke appears, then use it to wipe the eyes. From then on, one will see all the abodes of the Bodhisattvas, will see all the abodes of Vajrapani, will obtain all wealth and grain, will go wherever one wants to go. If it turns into flames, one will be able to walk in the sky, one will obtain the dharani samadhi called "Flame Lamp," one will become the lord of all the gods of the thirty-three heavens, one will do whatever one wants to do. Climbing to the top of a mountain and reciting one million times, one will become the master of all the worlds, one will do whatever one wants to do, all the people of Jambudvipa will do as you command. Entering the ocean and reciting one thousand and eight times, one will see all the nagas. Taking mustard seeds, reciting one thousand and eight mantras and scattering them into the sky, great rain will fall, all the nagas will do as you command. If one constantly recites, one will obtain great glory. Filling a vase with water, then pouring hab shang tshe'u, shing pa la sha, mustard seeds, saffron, and sandalwood together into the vase, reciting one hundred thousand times, if a person afflicted with a serious illness bathes with this water, all diseases will disappear, one will be free from all diseases, all his sins will also be destroyed, all curses will be destroyed, one will obtain all glory. If a person afflicted with leprosy bathes with this water, one will be completely liberated from leprosy. If a person afflicted with vitiligo also bathes with this water, one will also be completely liberated from vitiligo.
