Then, the lord of secrets, Vajrapani, making a "pu zing" sound and trembling in body, touched the two feet of the Bhagavan and said to the Bhagavan: Bhagavan, for what reason did this great vidya-mantra appear in Jambudvipa at the first gathering? Bhagavan, I have never heard of this vidya-mantra appearing in the world before. Through its power, this realm of the three-thousand great-thousand worlds is transformed into the nature of vajra, and this rain of weapons also transforms into various flowers and falls. Vajrapani, without this dharani, one cannot manifestly realize perfect enlightenment, one cannot defeat billions of maras, one cannot dry up the ocean of afflictions, and one cannot light the lamp of Dharma. Vajrapani, I endured countless billions of eons of hardship, and unless I heard this dharani and exerted effort with manifest diligence, I could not attain Buddhahood, and later I attained Buddhahood. Vajrapani, this dharani is powerful and greatly beneficial. Vajrapani, this is the dharmata of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, the very suchness, the perfect accomplishment of the Buddha's body. Vajrapani, merely holding the name of this one is equivalent to holding the names of all the Tathagatas. 尔时，菩萨摩诃萨大势至金刚手以种种鲜花、香和熏香供养世尊，并绕佛三匝，顶礼佛足，向世尊禀告说：“世尊，请您开示，娑婆世界的功德有何等差别？”世尊，除了这些如来身语意功德之外，仅凭微薄的善根，是无法积累众生之福的。于是，世尊告诉秘密主金刚手说：“金刚手，那些众生懒惰懈怠，精进力薄弱，被愚痴蒙蔽，被欲望的傲慢蒙蔽，难以置信，不接受彼岸，不接受此岸，不接受沙门，不接受婆罗门，不恭敬种姓之主。因此，他们无法获得此陀罗尼，福德浅薄、福分微薄、智慧低下之人，也不会听闻、讲述此陀罗尼。他们不会对能摧毁一切罪业的如来秘密陀罗尼生起信心。” 于是，世尊告诉大药叉将金刚手说：“善男子，从这里向东，经过无量恒河沙数佛土，再经过百千俱胝那由他佛土，有一个世界名为宝灯，那里的城市周围有十二由旬的围墙，由七宝构成，广大、安乐、令人愉悦、物产丰饶，充满人众。男女老少，所有民众都佩戴各种饰品，闪耀着光芒，头上戴着各种珠宝和金光闪闪的头饰，具有天人的容貌，拥有强大的力量和精进，具足一切善知识，通达明处，拥有光明。”那个世界里，

At that time, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Vajrapani offered various flowers, fragrances, and incense to the Blessed One, circumambulated the Blessed One three times, prostrated at the feet of the Blessed One, and said to the Blessed One: "Blessed One, please show us what kind of differences there are in the qualities of the Saha world." Blessed One, other than these foundations of the Tathagata's true Dharma body, it is not possible to accumulate the merits of sentient beings with only meager roots of virtue. Then, the Blessed One said to the Lord of Secrets, Vajrapani: "Vajrapani, those sentient beings are lazy, have little diligence, are deluded by ignorance, are deluded by the pride of desire, are difficult to believe, do not accept the other shore, do not accept this shore, do not accept ascetics, do not accept Brahmins, and do not revere the lords of their lineage. Therefore, they will not obtain this dharani, and those with little merit, little fortune, and weak intellect will not listen to it or explain it. They will not generate faith in this secret dharani of the Tathagata, which destroys all sins." Then, the Blessed One said to the great Yaksha general Vajrapani: "Son of good family, from here to the east, beyond immeasurable Buddha fields as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, and beyond hundreds of thousands of billions of Buddha fields, there is a world called Jewel Lamp, where the city is surrounded by a wall of twelve yojanas, made of seven precious materials, vast, peaceful, delightful, prosperous, and filled with people.
