Without protectors, without possessions, without medicine, without relatives, impoverished, may all the diseases of those who suffer be completely pacified when my name is heard in their ears. Until the end of enlightenment, may they abide without sickness and without harm, I pray. His eighth great aspiration is: When I, in the future, attain the unexcelled, perfect, complete enlightenment, when I attain enlightenment, may any woman who is afflicted by the hundred faults of women, who reviles the female body, who desires to be completely liberated from the female birth, may they be transformed from the female body. Until the end of enlightenment, may they attain the power of a male, I pray. His ninth great aspiration is: When I, in the future, attain the unexcelled, perfect, complete enlightenment, when I attain enlightenment, may all sentient beings be completely liberated from the snares of the demons. May those who quarrel due to various different and inconsistent views be placed upon the correct view. Ultimately, may the conduct of the bodhisattva be shown, I pray. His tenth great aspiration is: When I, in the future, attain the unexcelled, perfect, complete enlightenment, when I attain enlightenment, may any sentient being, those who are frightened by the fear of the king, and those who are imprisoned, beaten, thrown into prison, worthy of being killed, tormented by various illusions, without arrogance, whose body, speech, and mind are threatened by suffering, may they be completely liberated from all harm by the power of my merit, I pray. His eleventh great aspiration is: When I, in the future, attain the unexcelled, perfect, complete enlightenment, when I attain enlightenment, may any sentient being, those who are burned by the fire of hunger and thirst, who strive to find food, who commit evil deeds, may I satisfy their bodies with food that has color, smell, and taste, and afterwards give them the Dharma.

And vowed to enjoy great happiness. The twelfth great aspiration of the Tathagata is that when I attain unsurpassed perfect and complete enlightenment in the future, I will bestow upon all sentient beings who are naked, without clothing, poor, suffering, cold, hot, and who experience the suffering of mosquitoes and gadflies day and night, clothes suitable for use, transformed into various colors. And vowed that may all the thoughts of all sentient beings be fulfilled as they wish, through various precious ornaments, essences, garlands, incense, unguents, musical sounds, cymbals, and hand drums. Manjushri, the Bhagavan Tathagata Arhat Samyak-sambuddha Medicine Master Bhaisajyaguru, in the past, when practicing the conduct of a Bodhisattva, made these twelve great aspirations. Manjushri, the aspiration of the Tathagata Medicine Master Bhaisajyaguru, and the qualities and adornments of the Buddha-field, cannot be exhausted even in a kalpa or more. That Buddha-field is extremely pure, without stones, gravel, or pebbles, without the faults of desire, without the sounds of evil destinies and suffering, without the objects of women. The land, walls, fences, stables, window nets, and balconies are of the nature of lapis lazuli, and the bodhi trees are of the nature of the seven precious jewels. Just as the world of Sukhavati is, so too are the qualities and adornments of the Buddha-field of the Medicine Master Bhaisajyaguru similar to it. In that world, among the countless immeasurable Bodhisattvas, there are two chief Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, one named Suryaprabha, and the other named Chandraprabha, and they are the holders of the excellent Dharma treasury of the Bhagavan Tathagata Medicine Master Bhaisajyaguru. Manjushri.
